Today's Veteran's Day! Thank you to our Veteran's and those still serving! May God Bless you for your sacrifices!!!! This picture touched my heart. We pray for our Veteran's and ask Him to keep our troops safe.
We had a real nice day yesterday. A nice anniversary.....a huge thank you to all of you who made comments on this site, myspace, facebook, who sent emails, and called to wish us a happy anniversary!!!! It meant so much to us that you took time to acknowledge it! Thank you and we love you all....you are dear to our hearts.
I'm feeling better....though I don't sound or look better...anything is an improvement over Sunday! lol! I got 4 hours sleep again last night but they were a strait 4 hours. That's good. Mom, Doug and Betty came to see me yesterday and they thought I looked bad....even my mama! We had a great visit! I tried to stay away from everyone....quick hugs and stayed in the other side of the room. Chilled most of the day. Papa couldn't get that stinkin' oil filter off the van. It is hard....so if anyone wants to come over and help him today...it would be appreciated.
I'm finding journals I started here and there and pages I kept tabs of trips to South Dakota and Oklahoma I am logging in a new website. Not sure if I'm sharing it yet... not that there is anything personal on it... just not sure who really cares besides me. I'd already forgotten so much! Amazing how much we forget.
Well, I didn't get the Bainbridge Job...someone more qualified. But she would like to be my neighbor. lol! That softens the blow. I really would hate to drive there from here anyway. At least Silverdale is a strait shot. Just keep swimming, just keep swimming....something will come up.
Nothing going on today. Not sure if I am going to work tonight. Doctors note has me off today....we'll see. It's only 2 hours....I think I can tough it out.
Have a good day off. And remember.....a little inconvenience of banks and postal services being closed is nothing compared to the inconvenience of those who have served our country. Take time to call a vet and just say thanks.
