Friday again?????

Hello...it's been a week since my last confession. I mean post. Haven't done much lately but it sure rained yesterday. Poured hard. Only for a little bit and it was done. Some places in the area got it a whole lot worse than us.

The cat was out of the yard again. Second time in a week. I am not sure how he is getting out. We can't find a hole in the fence.  But there are heavy bush type trees in the yard along the fence he could probably find his way out. I have never really heard of a way to keep a cat in a yard. I am sad and disappointed.  I don't want anything to happen to him. We may have to let him out a couple times a day with us and watch him. He makes me so mad and yet he is so cute!

Today would have been Ma's 82nd birthday.  She went to be with the Lord almost 5 years ago.  She is missed every day. She was quite a woman. I loved her so much!

Let's see if I can remember the past week. No kids last weekend at all. Very quiet and weird after having so many kids and family for so long.
Sunday we went to church at Gateway! It used to be Christ Memorial Church. Andrew still goes there for youth group and stuff. It was a really good service and we sat with Ron & Sharon and Bill & Judie Davison's.  Good music and good message.  They honored Judy Green who was Andrew's kindergarten teacher.  That was nice.  One Tuesday Lauren went grocery shopping with me. It was a lot of fun.  Got her some jeans for school. Then on Wednesday I took Maddie and got her a skirt and stuff. A dress I got her she will probably use it for a nightgown since it is so comfortable and only $3.00.   We also went to Kings Wok for lunch with papa.  Papa was busy himself because Tuesday he went to get the oil changed on the van and Wednesday he went to get the oil changed in his car.  Ended up having to buy 2 tires. Whoops.  Busy week.

Well, I best go so I can spend some time with Lauren. She will be here all weekend so that will be fun. We made brownies with peanut butter cups in them. She thinks they are too chocolaty. Is she really a Black? lol!

Fair time in Kitsap County!

It is Friday! I am happy / sad. No, I am mostly sad.  Usually happy because it is Friday. But the kids are leaving me today. Parker and Patrick have been here all week and I am going to miss them like crazy!!!  I have gotten used to them being here!  Papa took them to Auntie Tara's this morning and she is taking them to the fair today!  Then they are spending tonight with her so she can take them to meet Heather on the pass tomorrow. Tara is taking 7 kids to the fair! Crazy girl!  Karla just left with Maddie and Lauren. They are going to the fair and she is taking Dylan and his girlfriend Grace too. Maddie was in a good mood until Karla made her switch from wearing her boots to her tennis shoes. Boots just didn't match with her shorts. lol! Praying they all have fun!!!!
We would have gone but I have a whole house I need to clean and get back in order. Papa will take care of the trailer. Me, Maddie and Lauren slept in it last night...P & P the night before...Dylan, P & P on Tuesday night...and Heather, Don, Joshua and Jared on Wed. to Sunday. So it has been used this past week. :D  Most use it has had all summer.
Anyway, I hope the kids eat some fair food for me!!! My favorite....

Already Thursday!!!!

Oh, what a beautiful morning!  This is what I woke up to...

Such pretty sunrise! I just wish the wires weren't there. But people may object if I cut them. lol! I probably wouldn't survive either.

So Monday was pretty laid back. Lauren went home and she was sad. She loves spending time with Parker and Patrick. 

Tuesday we went and got Dylan for the night! That was awesome because we don't see him as much anymore. We went and bought me a camera. Mine died! Got Andrew some Popsicles because he was sick and took them to him. He wanted a Blizzard but we would have had to buy everyone one and they are not cheap.  

The boys spent quite a bit of their time at the beach and eating s'mores.  Made shrimp scampi and fries for dinner and they ate it all! Growing boys. Then they had root beer floats after their s'mores as they sat out by the fire. They slept in the trailer.

Wednesday Dylan and Patrick played some football out on the road. Those two love sports. Parker laid in the hammock. lol!

 Then we got the girls!!!!  Papa picked up Lauren and Maddie!  Everyone had dinner before we took Dylan home.

 We went to watch Uncle Ryan play softball! We hadn't seen him on this team yet. It was hot out! I thought I was going to have to keep score but another lady did it. I was glad because I am so retired from that! I have kept score since high school for the NK Vikings, then our kids teams, then Karla's team. I am done. It is so much cooler to watch the game! And we were so proud of Ryan last night. His last hit was such an awesome hit. Sadly they lost. They were 3 down the last inning and they got two runs. Two were on base with one out and Jake popped up. Oh well, it was a really good game!

Had a nice time!  Parker and Maddie were at the playground. Lauren and Pat watched most of the game with us.  They both like softball.

Got home and the kids had brownies with peanut butter cup ice cream. They played out side in the dark until Maddie was clothes-lined by a cable. ouch. That was not good. It really hurt. She still has a mark this morning.

Well, today is Thursday. Not sure what is happening.  Lauren has a dental appointment so her mom will be picking her up. She has soccer practice again tonight. Maddie is staying again tonight!  Parker and Patrick leave Saturday. I think they've had a good time. Called Tara and they are all doing good over there too!  Well, gotta go chatting with Maddie!
