Well, it's the 31st. No wonder they had an opening at the dentist. Who the heck wants to go on Halloween? I guess I do. They are going to fix my teeth in 4 trips with that terrible deep cleaning and what ever they need to do for each section. Today is the lower right bottom. Fun. I imagine I will be sore after keeping my mouth open for 2 hours!!! Enough complaining. I am excited for trick-or-treaters tonight! Don't you just love that picture of the day? You would have thought the candy was Ryan & Lanny's and as they are going through and picking what they like... Andrew's expression is great. Lanny talked to Rita last night and they had Grandma up and sitting on the side of the bed. She is in alot of pain, of course. Thanks for your prayers. Today is the 31st and no one is on the list :( !!!! Pray anyway. Someone you know needs it!!! Have a great day!

just stuff....
So...at least I slept until 5 this morning. That's sleeping in for me! Going to Karla's this morning to dry clothes. Thank you, Karla. Lanny got a dryer from someone at work until we have the money to get ours fixed. That will help. Got lots done yesterday...paperwork anyway. I had to rewrite 2 KidStuf scripts, figure out who gets paid Friday, and did some fun computer stuff. Also cleaned the livingroom. Very happy to get the news on Grandma Wave!!!! Thank you, God! Yesterday Lanny had to go to another meeting regarding his accident at work Friday. That's all over and he is feeling better. So...all is good with the world. Except I've been feeling dizzy and seeing things...good thing we have doctor appointments Friday. I don't feel as tired as I have been, tho. That is good. Today being the 30th... we pray for Grandma Wave! Also, Don (son-in-law) lost his grandpa yesterday so keep him and the whole family in your prayers. Praying you have a good day!

Update on Waverly
Waverly, Lanny's mom in Oklahoma, came through her surgery today. They had to remove her whole stomach because of the cancer. But they believe they got it all. They also removed her spleen and ran tests to make sure it is all gone. We'll know more in a couple days. Praise God for bringing her through! Thank you for your prayers. Please continue to pray for her recovery. Thanks!!!
Too early...too much on my mind!

Woke at 1:30 this morning. Not sure why...I think I was having weird dreams and I have so much on my mind. Mostly Grandma Wave. Today is her surgery. I've been praying for her. I've also been thinking about bills, KidStuf, people, and I've also been thinking about something Lois said to me. Things take a while to soak in and that was one of them. Some people have really hurt me in the past... don't know if it was deliberate or what. But Lois said to me "You can't expect from someone what they don't have in them to give." It's funny how we expect others to act in certain situations...like we would! But if they don't have it in them to do it....I guess I should lower my expectation bar and not expect so much from some. That really hit me.Thanks so much, sister of mine!!! Well, who knows what today will bring. I just know that He goes before us to pave the way. Today we pray for Dylan, Lester, and appropriately enough Lanny's brother, Michael. And,of course, Grandma and her doctors. Thanks!

Party, KidStuf and stuff!

Well, the party was awesome!!! The kids had so much fun...as you can tell by the pictures. Karla made pizza and decorated them with a pumpkin face and a bat. We ate more pizza than the kids! Tara made some cupcakes with brains on top for frosting. Really clever. We played games... we played "I love ya honey but I just can't smile" where you try to make someone smile. That was so hard for Riley!!! She laughed the whole game. We played Candy Walk...like cake walk but for candy. We danced, played charades, sardine (a form of hide and seek but only one hides and when you find them you hide with them until there is only one person left). Karla and Tara played cards with the girls while the kids went outside. Left with a headache..those kids are LOUD! But it was lots of fun!!! Missed Andrew and Lauren. The first Halloween party they missed. But next year they should be here.
Had KidStuf rehearsal last night. That was so fun...didn't go that well, but it will today. Well, today is the 28th so we pray for Andrew, my mom, and Carter! And as always...keep Lanny's mom lifted up. Surgery is tomorrow.

birthdays, parties, and cold!
.jpg)
Ok...I am a "24" addict. Lanny is catching up on his show this morning. It is a beautiful day...nice and sunny but so cold!!! It really is a good show. We're having a Halloween Party with the grandkids today. That will be fun. Jeanette brought Parker & Patrick over so they could come to the party. That's good. Heather is coming over next weekend to see and old friend and for Jordy's birthday party. Plus Joshua is sick so she couldn't make it. That's about it. Today is Lanny's brother's birthday. Weird situation....but he never met him before...Mike doesn't want to meet Lanny. They are definitely brothers though as you can see by the picture. Oh well...his loss. Lanny is an awesome guy. Great nephew, Brandon, is 2 today so happy birthday to both... and keep them in your prayers. Today is the 27th so also on the prayer list is my cousin, Bob, who is having terrible back problems. Thanks! God bless and have a great day!

Happy Birthday, Karen!!!
.jpg)
Happy Birthday, Karen!!! Today is Karen Brazeau Wren's birthday! She is our cousin on Papa's side and we love her very much! She is one of the sweetest people I know with the best smile ever! I pray for many more happy & healthy years to come for her! I miss seeing her.... I used to see her every day when I picked up Andrew from school. Did anyone see the moon last night? Amazing as it reflected off the water! I already wrote the latest news about Grandma Wave below. Called everyone I needed to call I hope. I talked with Aunt Yvonne for quite awhile and called Marcey to pass the word on that side of the family. Thanks, Marcey. Dylan & Maddie spent the day over here yesterday. That was nice. Always nice with grandkids around!!! Maddie decided the cat freaked her out, though. Before she left she had calmed down. That was weird and made Dylan mad. He told her it was time to just grow up!!!! lol! Kevon brought the cat door over but it didn't fit. Oh well. Went to bible study last night. That was so awesome to be with all our friends again. It has been awhile!!Best get going. Got stuff to do today.

Grandma Wave Update
Well, I talked to Grandma Wave (Lanny's mom in Oklahoma) this afternoon. The scan showed that the cancer had not spread anywhere but the tumor. Praise God. She had to make a choice of surgery or not. Without it... she would only live about year. To have it they would remove most of her stomach. A neurosurgeon would be assisting to check and make sure they are getting it all out around the edges etc.... They will do no chemo because it is ineffective against this kind of cancer. So they basically would HAVE to make sure they got it all out. If they succeed she could have many more years ahead of her. She would be in the hospital for 7-10 days and be sent home with a feeding tube so she would need home health to be there. The feeding tube would be removed once she starts eating. It will be about 1 and 1/2 months before she will be up and around. The surgery is Monday. She is a very strong and determined woman. She is one of my favorite people and I hold her up there on a pedestal. She is one of my hero's. Please pray for her as she waits this week end. Also pray for her, the surgeons, and everyone involved on Monday. Thank you so much! She feels the prayers and so do we!
YIPPEE!!! THEY ARE COMING HOME!!!
Good news.... or should I say GREAT news... which many of you already know from Ryan's phone calls or Amanda's web site...THEY ARE COMING HOME!!!! We are just beside ourselves with joy! You all know how much we have missed them!!! They will be moving up and staying with Ryan's mom for awhile until they get ready to settle, probably wherever Ryan gets a job. He's got an interview with a big construction company on the 20th so please pray for him. He is a hard worker and very smart so I don't think he will have any problem getting a job. He has never been out of work long in his life. The kids are pretty happy, too! It will be such a blessed Christmas to have us all together again. Last year there was definitely something missing!
The bad news.... Grandma Wave has an appointment with the doctor today. They got the results back and want to discuss them with her. The waiting is so hard. But we will keep praying. We are so glad Susan and Randy are there with her right now! I talked with mom for a long time yesterday. It was good. She helped me a lot with some stuff. God....please make her alright!!!!
Today I go to the doctor. My blood pressure has ALWAYS been good... until Papa went to the hospital and all of last summer happened. Now it's been high. I am also getting my glucose, thyroid, cholesterol, etc... checked while I am at it.
Last night was so weird. I don't know what Papa was dreaming about but he kept laughing until I came to bed and told him to stop! He must be happy!
Went to Karla's and dried clothes yesterday and visited for awhile. That was nice. Cleaned the den and stuff. Going to get more organized with my life.
Ernestine, a wonderful lady who used to live here but moved to Texas a few years ago, is having some major health issues. She was getting ready to go to the doctor. She is having a bad reaction to an antibiotic the doctor put her on, headaches, stomach pains, and her eye sight is failing her. Please keep her in your prayers. She is the biggest prayer warrior I know and I love her so much. She is the most compassionate person I know, too. She wanted to know about Lanny's mom.
Well...keep Grandma Wave in your prayers and also my friend, Candice. She has been having major health issues for months now with alot of leg pain and because of these health problems has been unable to sing most of the time. Not good.
Today is our dear friends birthday! Happy birthday Patti Jacobs!!! We love you!!!

that's all...
Didn't get as much done as I wanted to yesterday. Got tied up with KidStuf stuf. Maybe today. No word about Grandma Wave yet. Will keep you posted. Keep her in your prayers and also we pray for Dave Ellis (Karla & Kevon's dad)...today is his birthday. And pray for Lanny's brother Kern and Marie Langager. Thanks.

Clutter, cat fights, and Grandma Wave

Yesterday sure was warm! It was in the 60's here. Great day. Papa mowed the lawn probably for the last time this year. Last night we turned on the electric furnace for the first time since we lived here. Wanted to make sure it worked in case we ran out of propane. It sure heats up this small place fast!!! Got my computer moved into the den and everything cleaned up! Looks good. Thought papa would comment on how good it looked but nothing. I like it though. Except now I have a humming in my speakers I need to figure out. Thought I did yesterday...but still humming. I also got my menu planned for a month. Tonight is spaghetti. My cat got into a fight with the neighbors cat. Ran out and broke that up. No marks on my cat so maybe she is tougher than I thought. I think she's investigated every inch of this house now!!! So nosy! We cleaned off the back porch and Papa put Sandy's old bed up on the table... she loves it. She sits right outside the kitchen window. The skits were pretty funny at KidStuf Sunday.... I posted them on the KidStuf website if you want to check them out. Just keep in mind Dylan recorded so it is a bit shaky and he got so into watching he forgot he was recording (sound familiar Karla?) I don't do the memory slideshow every day... but I loved the pictures from today so they are below this post. Too cute! Just like Karla...I have bathrooms to clean today. Also some clutter to toss! It is so easy to collect and so hard for me to throw away! I drive my kids crazy! When I die they will probably just torch the place. Wow, dancing with the stars freaked me out last night when Marie Osmond passed out!!! I called Tara, who was recording it, and she turned it on. I'm glad she was ok. I really thought Kym looked like Jeannie! That was cool. A different partner would have been better. Well, best go get the cleaning done so I can lay on the couch and watch tv and eat bonbons all day. Here is the quote for the day: True joy comes from the Lord Who lives in us, not from what's happening around us. Today is the 23rd so we have the privilege of praying for Papa, cousins Marcey Brazeau and Mike DeLay, and dear friend Ernestine...who is losing her sight. Especially pray for Grandma Wave (Lanny's mom)...she is going in for tests today to see if the cancer has spread or not. Randy and Susan are there with her now also. Thanks and have a wonderful day. No rain!

If you must curse, use your own name. - God
If you must curse, use your own name!
Why do we curse? Why do we get so frustrated, angry and upset that we seek to feel better by yelling out a name or slang term? When we do yell out a name, we rarely if ever hear the name of another religion’s god. We almost always here the name of God and Jesus used. Why? God’s name is a good name, a name that saves, heals, calms fears, invokes fear, invokes love, invokes trust, God’s name is a safe name. It is Who you go to for help! So... it is a good name to use, but in a manner that is treasured not trashed.
You shall not take the name of Jehovah your God in vain. For Jehovah will not hold him guiltless that takes His name in vain. Exodus 20:7

monday, monday....
The weekends go so fast! I woke up at 3 refreshed and ready to go. Going to get this house cleaned today!!! Got some planning to do also... menu's and stuff. Lanny has so many thank you cards to do!!! I need to get those addressed for him. He wasn't up to it before but it is time. Right, baby? Yesterday was KidStuf. It was awesome. Going to post the video's on youtube. After church we brought Dylan & Maddie home. Karla was in a pretty bad mood and tired so she was going to nap. And dry my clothes. She is so sweet to do that for me!!! We watched Kid Nation. I really love that show!!! Andrew and I talked about it last night on the phone. He likes it, too. I am fascinated by how people behave. I should be a psychologist... except I don't understand people at all... so I would probably stink at it. I watched "The Holiday" yesterday. It was a pretty good movie. Made me cry...so that is always the sign of a good movie. Check out my Halloween page! I've been playing "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" for days and can't get to the $32,000!!! Making me crazy!!! Today we pray for niece Kara and nephew Ronnie. Any dinner suggestions? Well...have a great day!

Sunday morning
.jpg)

Well, I changed my mind about the Halloween slideshow for each grandchild. It slows things down on my site so I set up a whole new site for it. Check it out...it has each one of the babies every Halloween. Really cool....hope you like it! You can find it on my sidebar or at http://mamshalloweenmemories.blogspot.com/. We took Dylan and Maddie to Riley's game while Karla dried my clothes. It was freezing cold. Jordy & Dylan kept thinking they felt snow. See the slideshow. Also went to mom's and saw her tree and visited a bit before coming home. Papa and I went to rehearsal...it went pretty good. Actually the skit is awesome and we had a lot of laughs. Got home late!
Today is my brother's birthday! David is 45! I can't tell you how proud of him I am. With God's help he has climbed out of the pit and is making something of his life again. He has his own home and a good job and self respect. He also attends church and his meetings and making friends. God is so good! Our whole family is so proud of him and I know dad would be, too. Anyway...Happy Birthday David! I love you! Keep him in your prayers! Also, since the date is the 21st... please pray for Jared, brother Rick, nephew Dan, and Aunt Marcella! Keep Waverly in your prayers, too. Picking up the kids for KidStuf this morning and that is about it for the day! Hope yours is good!

saturday morning
Every day I am going to put up a screenshow of one of my grandchildren for Halloween. First is Andrew...the past 10 Halloweens! What a cutey! Parker will be Monday! Then Dylan, Jordan, etc...
Wow...yesterday was a weird day. I was so tired I could hardly function. I fell asleep in the chair for over an hour around 1...fell asleep on the couch around 6...went to bed sometime after 9 and got up at 7! That's not like me. I feel like I am 80+!!! Today we have things to do. Going to see mom's tree today and visit with her. Then we are going to Riley's game. Have rehearsal tonight. So there are things to do and people to see. Need to call Waverly and see how she is feeling today. Many have asked if Lanny is going down there. He can't go down....unfortunetly we are broke plus he has no leave at work from all he went through these past couple months. He was off work 10 weeks and we lost 2 incomes. I feel bad for him but there is nothing we can do...but pray. Who knows, he could make things worse by going down. We appreciate all the kind messages and emails from everyone...and the prayers being lifted up for her. Keep her in your prayers.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HEATHER!

.jpg)
Well, today is Heather's 31st birthday! This is where I start losing count. haha! Don't ask me how old Tara & Karla are! I wish we could celebrate it with her...but we will next weekend! Here is a picture of Heath on her 10th birthday... the same age as Parker, her oldest baby! Heather is such a great mom and person... I pray the Lord blesses her with many more happy and healthy years to come!!! We love you, mcfeath!
I worked on my recipe site for awhile yesterday. Took out some good recipe's and put them on there and now am getting rid of some recipe books. Tara and the girls asked me to meet them at WalMart... so I got to see Jordy's new braces. She looks so cute. She is doing good with them so far! Haven't talked to Tara to see how the night went yet. When we left WalMart.... that is when the winds started picking up. It was pretty windy! Of course the bridge closed for several hours so we couldn't go to bible study. Plus with the news of Waverly... I don't think we felt too much like going out. Mom had a close call during the storm. There was an old dead fir in her yard that Libby was going to have cut down. Well... God fell the tree. I don't think anyone could have done a better job! It went right in the front yard in front of the reckroom...missing all her plants, trees, everything! Amazing. Today Papa is changing the oil in his car and I am cleaning. I need to do laundry. Don't know what I am going to do about that dryer!!! Paid our bills yesterday but we sure don't have anything left to fix it with. I need a job.
Keep Rita Langager in your prayers...her mom passed away this past week. And pray for my niece and nephews as they go through this loss with their mom. It is hard. Also pray for Waverly and the whole family. Also...it is the 19th so, of course, pray for Heather! And Libby! Thanks and have a great and awesome day today! Stay dry!

Got some sad news. Lanny talked to his mom. The biopsy came back and she has cancer. We're not sure how bad it is. According to what she was told...it is the kind that spreads quickly. The doctor said they will run tests on Tuesday. If it has spread there isn't much they can do for her. If it is centralized in the tumor in her stomach...they will remove the tumor and go from there. PLEASE pray for her! She, of course, is pretty upset. But her main concern is Michael. (Michael is her handicap son who she has raised for over 50 years.) She is worried about what will happen to him. This is another hard blow for Lanny and this family....but, again, we will turn to the Lord to sustain us all. We appreciate your prayers. I am posting a picture of Waverly and Michael.
nasty thursday!
.jpg)
It is going to be nasty weather today. Yesterday was pretty nice...cold but nice. Today is rain and winds! Fun. We have bibles study tonight. I'll be mad if the bridge is closed on our way home! I'm ready to move. I moved my recipe's to a different website so it can be more organized and categorized. I was cleaning and found all these recipe's and books so that I am adding to it daily for awhile. If you are looking for idea's .... check it out! If you have any awesome family recipe's ... send them! I may put them in! Like Amanda's chicken strips or clam chowder? I need to get ahold of Papa's doctor. He finally agreed that maybe he could use a sleeping pill once in a while. He was up almost all night. I know because he kept getting up and down all night and tossing and turning and talking to himself. It's been rough for him.
Keep Jordan in your prayers today! She is getting her braces. I am praying they don't bother her at all! Also pray for Riley (it is the 18th), nephew Donny, Uncle Jake, Amanda's mom Beth, and Craig Thompson! Also there are 2 anniversaries today so prayer for these couples would be nice... Dick & Mary Lane and also Jon & Amy Taylor. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!! And pray for a quick healing on Maddie's little lip that the nosy little girl burnt on a cookie sheet. And continued prayer for Lanny's mom - Grandma Wave. Have a good day....and stay inside if you can!

Wednesday

I have to mention...I love my new game site!!!! I have to be careful going in there or I will stay for a long time. I'm cooking a turkey today. Nice and healthy. Went to KJ's yesterday. It was a good visit. I love that girl! Both of them! Dropped off my resume and filled out a brief form. It was a nice office. I was a bit nervous and then I remembered...God is in control. If I get it...praise Him. If I don't...praise Him He has something better for me! Stopped on the way home and got groceries (thanks Tara!) and then Kevon came over. They looked at the dryer. I will need a repairman to come. Not good. It will have to wait until we have the money. Keep Grandma Wave in your prayers! And today is the 17th so we are lifting up Meghan (her and Kevon just celebrated their 3rd anniversary of being together!), Cheryl Bussing, and Dave Brazeau (he'll probably be driving home today from hunting) to the Lord today. And especially lift up little Emma...she is very sick with "Tonsil Agregates in her throat. This is a lymphnode reaction to a virus. If she gets any worse it is back to the dr.. they now have to watch her for Meningitis." And pray for Renee who is getting little sleep. Thank the Lord Don and Jared are feeling better! Best get to cleaning....or watching tv. Hope your day is full of happiness!

prayer request for lanny's mom
Lanny's mom, Waverly, had her gall bladder removed yesterday. They looked around while they were in there because she has lost weight so fast... and they found she has an ulcer and they found a tumor. They did a biopsy and we'll know the results next week. Please pray it isn't what she thinks it is and peace for her. And for Lanny. I can tell he is worried. She sounded pretty weak tonight on the phone so pray she heals quickly. Thank you!
Is today the day?
Well, there is a job I am going to to apply for in Silverdale today! Pray for me! I hope this is the one God wants for me. The hours are 12:30-6:30 monday thru friday. Not bad at all! At least any roads will be thawed before I drive, right? I have to go to Karla's this morning and dry some clothes, too. Kevon is coming by after work and him and Lanny are going to look at the dryer. Even though neither one know any thing about dryers! Where is my dad when we need him???? He could fix anything! Today could you pray for Rita Langager's mom, Lucille? She has had some strokes and is barely hanging on in the hospital right now. Pray for Rita, too. She is very close to her mom. Also, we pray for cousin Kathy O'conner,Bill Davison and Adam Vega today. Thanks and I hope you have happy news come your way today! Oh...I put up a new poll to see what people think of this site....and I moved all my games over to a whole new site! Check it out on my links page. You may find a game you like!

ok...now i have to ask....
Now i have to ask the question. Do you get annoyed by music on websites? Is it like being put on hold and having to listen to music? Does it take longer to pull up my site now that there is music? I added because Amanda and Karla had it. Now neither one have it. Let me know what you think please. Thanks!
I've had better days.
I am going to put prayer requests at the top because they are pretty urgent. My son-in-law, Brad, lost his favorite Uncle Russ to a motorcycle accident Saturday night in Nevada. Please keep the whole family in your prayers... especially his wife Aunt Connie. Also, Heather's boy Jared is really sick as is Don. Please pray for God's healing touch quickly on that family. Also, please pray for me. I have been really depressed lately and it is hard for me to snap out of it. And it is the 15th so on our prayer list is Emerson, Linda DeLay and Mary Lane. Thank you to those who pray with us for those people. God hears.
Well....I've had better days. But I guess I have had worse days too. KidStuf went really well. A little girl freaked when the dog was brought on stage. I guess she was afraid. Busted 2 boys for throwing stuff on stage. Brothers. Skits and production went great. Maddie and Dylan went with us and Tara brought the girls. I think they like it. After church we came home and Lanny caught up on his epidsode's of "24" and washed the van. Our dryer went out...so I have to find the warrenty today. That added to my bad mood. The other day the motion light outside the garage was staying on, then yesterday morning the power was out in the garage but it was from an outlet that had been tripped. Then the dryer when we got home. Just what we need! The bright spot in my day were the wonderful pictures Heather sent to me of the boys. I love pictures so much. I hope today goes better!

I hope today goes better!

sunday morning
I sure slept good. I sympathize with those mom's with kids keeping them up!!! It was nice not having Maddie keep me up last night! I slept like a rock. As tired as she was...I don't think she kept KJ up last night either. I don't remember my kids staying awake like kids do today. (But it's funny how you block that stuff out). Kevon would have night terrors if he was overtired, but I don't remember Karla ever having trouble sleeping ...and the kids didn't come into my room after the age of 2. I send my compassion and prayers to you all!
Joel picked up Maddie yesterday. No deer yet. Karla and Dylan had a nice trip. Maddie was so happy to see her mom! KidStuf was a nightmare last night. The guy that had the ipod with all our soundbites and music had the night off and we couldn't reach him anywhere. Not too happy about that. So we ran rehearsal and made do.... Pastor Ty was there to observe and get to know everyone a bit. Well....should go good today! Today our prayer list includes Rita Stark, Don Culton, Don Kain, Brenda Davison..and for some readon I see Andrew wrote his name on the bottom of the list for this day so I guess we better pray for him too!

Riley's game
We went to Riley's game! They beat the other team so bad it was sad. Here are some pictures we took of the game though!
Cold Saturday morning
.jpg)
It is in the 30's this morning! Getting colder! Well...it is almost 8:00 and Maddie is still sleeping! Which she should since she woke up at 2 to go potty and didn't get back to sleep til after 4!!! She couldn't sleep, she was hungry, she was thirsty, she was coughing, etc... We started out sleeping where she wanted...me on the couch and her on the floor and papa in the chair. Until bedtime and Punkin' was attacking her feet. She thought it was funny at first and then it started freaking her out a bit. So her and I went in my bed. During her time awake papa was up watching tv anyway so he got her an ice cream cone. She woke up coughing at 7 so I got up thinking this is the end of sleep... but she didn't get up. So papa is getting ready to go to Riley's game without us unless she wakes up and is feeling better. That makes me sad...it is fun to watch her games. No other plans for today except cleaning the toyroom and going to rehearsal tonight. Joel is hunting today...start of hunting season. Hope he gets one early! Yesterday turned out pretty good. I worked on Denise's myspace site and added some of her favorite songs and did the same for Lois's website. She was jealous and wanted her spiced up, too. Looks pretty good...check them out! The links are on my site here. Leave them a message! Everyone loves messages! Papa mowed the front and back yard! Tired him out but he thinks it improved his breathing. Thought he would be tired enough to sleep last night but I guess it didn't work. We had popcorn and watched High School Musical 2. Karla got to Heather's safely. She hated the drive. Her and I talked about driving to Colorado one day....don't know how that would work when we both hate long drives! lol! Today is the 13th and so we pray for Kevon and neice Britni!

friday
Wow....I haven't even written anything down yet...and it is after 12! I've been busy doing a playlist for Denise's myspace site and I liked it so well I did one for my site and this one! It was fun! You'll probably be surprised at some of my choices of music. Quite a variety. The beauty of these song lists is that if you are reading this and don't like the song that is on...you can change it yourself! You don't have to suffer through a song. Didn't go to bible study last night. Papa needed to rest. He is still not totally up to par. Karla and Dylan are on their way to Heather's. They are so excited! Dylan's mouth almost stopped the trip but he backpeddled pdq. Maddie is just excited to stay the night with mam. We sleep in the livingroom and she loves that. Papa is picking her up at school today. Well...that's about it! Just doing laundry and trying to figure out what's for dinner. Have a good weekend!

NEW GOAL!!!!!!!!!
PAPA & I JUST SET SOME GOALS HERE!!! IF WE DON'T AIM AT SOMETHING...WE WON'T HIT ANYTHING. SO...OUR GOAL IS 11 POUNDS BY THANKSGIVING. THAT IS REALISTIC. THAT IS 6 WEEKS. PLEASE ENCOURAGE US!!!!! IT IS A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH. DOES ANY ONE WANT TO JOIN US IN THE 11 BY THANKSGIVING TARGET????
Nice day.....
They are calling for sunshine the next couple of days!!! Woo-ooo! Yesterday was an ok day. Rained...but got some stuff done. Cleaned the den & livingroom really good and my computer desk! Looks great! I also cleaned off the porches and took the table & chairs off the front and put away for the winter. (Well...papa will finish putting stuff up where he wants it). Put away the hammock too. Sad. But I got cheered up by talking to Lauren on the video cam for awhile. Just hearing her laugh is such a mood lifter! Well, today I am tackling our bedroom. I need to do the toyroom tomorrow. Maddie is spending the night tomorrow night. Karla and Dylan are going to Ephrata. That will be fun. Dylan is so excited... that is all he talks about! I don't know if it is going to see Parker & Patrick or being with his mom that he is most excited about. We went to dinner at Andy & Francie's last night. It was really nice and we got a lot of KidStuf discussing done. Tonight is bible study. Punkin' is going outside quite a bit more. I haven't seen her leave the back yard yet... but that doesn't mean she doesn't. Best get to work! Pray for Aunt Rhonda today! She's ok...as far as I know... she is just the one we pray for! She's had a lot of back problems so we may want to pray for that. Also pray for Renee. She isn't feeling well at all! Thanks!

Wednesday

Happy birthday to my niece Alyssa! She is 11 years old today. She is Davo's girl and is such a sweety. Hope her day is wonderful! She is one we pray for today...also we pray for Amanda, Kevin Christie and Ron Davison. Talked to Ryan yesterday. Sounds like he was having a wonderful birthday! Freezing his butt off at work...he was working in Purgatory. Poor guy. Said the job is going to last all winter. Got all my errands done yesterday. I picked up Karla and we went to the bank, group health for prescriptions (almost $100!!!), and then starbucks and walmart. She got Maddie a ballerina outfit for Halloween. Very cute! After I took them home I went and mailed Ryan's gift & card and bought stamps for thank you cards. We have so many to write! Met Lanny at Walmart and drove to Bremerton. He hadn't had anything to eat all day because he was in school at work so we stopped at Popeye's. Not worth going to...too expensive for nothing. His doctor's appointment went great!!! His heart sounds wonderful, his lungs are good, his wound is healing nicely and they don't want to see him back except to visit! We got to see Joanne, Michael, Dr. King and Dr. Cain. They are always happy to see Lanny. He is a miracle man. They will never forget him! Dr. King said Lanny's picture is hung at the hospital because he's not allowed back. He used up all his days. lol! Anyway, I know Lanny was very relieved and happy with his report. She said he can even mow the lawn! Now he just has to get the mower running! We stopped at Walmart to get bandaids and saw Ron & Sharon and talked for a bit. Came home and got Toby and took him to the vet. He has ear infections, anal gland infection, and got toe nails cut. You could hear him crying when the doctor was working on him. Poor baby. Got medicine for him to take. That was about it for the day! It went fast. Today is a big cleaning day for me!!! Then we are suppose to got to a dinner/meeting at Andy and Francie's house. Well, best run and get busy! Have a good day!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, RYAN!!!!

It is so hard to believe he is 30 years old. I remember when he was 4! lol! He has grown up to be a wonderful family man that we are so proud of. That's all a parent can pray for, right? We've been blessed enough to watch Ryan grow into his faith and to watch his love grow every day for his family. Ryan has always had a good heart and it shows through his children...it is a great heritage that he is passing on to them! Happy birthday Ryan! We love you!
Well...I have a busy day today.I have to go to WalMart, the bank, mail Ryan's package...yea, I already told him it will be late :( ! I also have to pick up pills and Papa's xray's. He has a appointment with the surgeon today. Also...something is wrong with Toby and I may have to call the vet. Like we have the money for that!!! Oh well. We did nothing yesterday... so I have some housework to do today. I should say I did nothing yesterday. Except that is my day to work on KidStuf stuff. I also finished up a myspace account for Denise...check it out! Papa washed the car & van inside and out and tried to start the lawnmower. Don't know if that was wise or not...but he does what he wants. Karla called and is excited about getting a new frig! Tara called and checked on her dad. She lectured him the other day...good for her. Talked with Heather...I have to find a way to get the football video's to Don that I took. He can't view them for some reason. I put them on youtube but he can't save them. I will work on that tonight or tomorrow. Well....I best get in the shower and get ready for this day! Today we pray for Ryan of course, Ashley, Matthew in Oklahoma, Mary Davison, niece Jessie, and Pete Brazeau. Oh...papa....the cat came back in at 6:45. Worried me for a bit! Have a great day everyone! Especially you, Ryan (if you're reading this or not)!

Happy Christopher Columbus day?
.jpg)
Well, it is Christopher Columbus day. Every school district observes it as a day off as does the federal government. But not North Kitsap. Karla told me the Native American's (which papa says all of us born here are native americans) say that America wasn't discovered by Columbus because it was already discovered by them. So, because of the Indian population in NK.... they don't observe. Interesting. I always thought it was because of the Norwegians and their thinking that they discovered it! lol! Anyway...took Maddie and Dylan to church yesterday. Since Papa stayed home, Tara was a big help there! Thanks Tara! The day turned out really good. D & M came home with me after church to see the cat. The cat thought Maddie was playing when she went to pet her and bit her...no mark or anything but Maddie cried. We watched Kid Nation. I think Dylan liked it. Today is a cleaning day for us. My house gets out of hand sometimes. Duh, I think everyones does. Today we pray for Maddie, niece Denise, Aunt Lorraine, and nephew Jonah! Thanks to those that pray with us! Have a great day!

Here are some pictures from yesterday! Enjoy! Pray for Papa...he's not feeling well today. Maybe just tired. And today we are praying for Tara, Joel and Lois!

Saturday night
getting ready for bed. i am beat...we put over 550 miles on the car today!!! We went to Moses to see Patrick play football! Then stopped at Jack's for lunch and then over to Don & Heathers to visit before heading home. We had rehearsal at 7 at the church....well we didn't make it anyway!!! There was a big propane explosion off of 38th (highway 16...the road that takes you off I-5 to the bridge etc. Well they closed the road so you couldn't get off 5...and the Tacoma Mall exit was packed....so after talking with Tara and then Kev (who knows Tacoma well) we decided to drive thru Shelton. Got home about 8:30. We are tired. Punkin' and Toby very happy to see us. Very playful now!! All in all..it was worth seeing Heather's family!!! Those boys are so special! That's it for tonight. And Lois, Karla & Tara....I know....IT'S MY TURN? Today we are praying for Aunt Betty, Aunt Susan, Caitlin Wren, and Rita Langager. I will do that and go to bed! Good night!

friday!
.jpg)

Papa has a four day weekend. I am happy about that! I won't be alone all day at least. Actually, my mom took pity on me and came to visit yesterday! What a wonderful surprise! We watched Dr. Phil's show on Brittany Spears. Kind of dumb. His shows act like there will be so much drama and then fall flat. He doesn't really seem to help people any more. He is more like the talk show host than the doctor. My opinion. We were going to go to bible study last night but I thought I shouldn't. Our friend, Melody, lost her mom just a few weeks ago and I knew she would be talking about it and the services etc...and it would just bring to mind more sad memories. It's not that I am not compassionate for her..my heart goes out to her big time. I am just not strong enough this week to handle things. This morning it is 3 years since the time I walked into his hospital room and he was gone. Almost to the minute. I know he is so better off...but I sure miss him and miss that we don't have any more time together on this earth. And I feel bad for mom. She said she just goes in her cave and has a good cry. She is amazing. I know we can't live in the past...but he is my daddy. And I miss him and cry for him to this date. I made a memorial for him you probably saw. Well, Papa has to go get an xray for Dr Kings appointment on Tuesday and have blood drawn this morning. I am going to go visit KJ and the kids...see how sick little Maddie is feeling. Continue to pray for her and Heather's sick boys!!!! Also on our prayer list is Parker, Brad, brother Doug, niece Savanah, brother in law Randy, and nephew Justin. Hope you have a good day.

october 4th...thursday

Yesterday was the same as today will be. Except I talked to Amanda for awhile on the phone. And Heather invited us to watch Patrick's game on Saturday so we are going to drive over there Saturday to see them! I am very excited about that! Kev wanted to go but has to work overtime...so he asked me to take video and pictures. Did all the laundry and put it away yesterday. That was fun. Can't seem to snap out of this mood. I understand it but don't like it. I am usually pretty up. My cat is wonderful but not alot of distraction. She only plays when she feels like it... and then I can watch her sleep. Have a wonderful day. Today we pray for Patrick, Connie, Holly and Tiffany.

October 2nd

Something is wrong with this website. I cannot see my slideshow's. Is anyone else having that problem? I need to know to see if it is my settings for my computer or my site.
Today is My Uncle Alvin's birthday. And Greg Davison...Ron and Sharon's youngest. Not sure how old either are. But happy birthday...and keep them in your prayers today. We also pray for Lauren, Karla, Rhonda, Hilary, Vicky, Taylor, and Amy! It is a big list today! Lot of people born on the 2nd of some month. Also pray I get a job. I have a ton of resume's out there. Someone has to want me.
Talked to Ryan briefly last night...but he was eating dinner. Lauren and Andrew called us back. Andrew is doing so good at school. He said he has alot of friends. Said he got to talk to Dylan on the phone yesterday, too. And Lauren sure loves to laugh. It is so easy and fun to make her laugh. I miss them all so much. Joshua called last night.... he can say "I love you" so clear! It was awesome!!! What a cutey!
Our new baby is doing great! She is so sweet. Toby doesn't scare her anymore. They still aren't best of friends yet... they keep their eye on each other. She was playing with Papa this morning. She loves sitting up on the back of the couch and the window sill. Going to see if she wants outside today.

Monday morning...so far so good!

As you can see from my last post we got a new cat. She slept on our bed all night. In the middle of the night I heard Toby jump on, her growl, and he jumped off. Poor Toby. They'll get used to each other. Had KidStuf yesterday. Those kids were pretty rowdy, Andy ended up in emergency with kidney stones (he's in charge of tech), Susan was running late, and we decided to leave the chairs up to see how it went. It went good. A few problems...but they were with kids, not production! After that we went to church and Maddie and Dylan went too. She got bored of course. Maybe I should have seen if she wanted to go to class instead. Got a cat carrier from Tara and got the cat. Dylan and Maddie came here for lunch and to help the cat get settled. She's used the litter box and ate and doing good. No worries, right? Today we pray for Becky...our niece in Oklahoma.
