May 17 THIS, THAT AND THE OTHER
Well, it has been about a month since I posted last. Called that.
Let's go back and catch up. Easter was wonderful. We had dinner at Manda's with her, Aaron and Lauren. Her and Lauren made a homemade angel food cake with homemade chocolate frosting. My favorite and it was SO GOOD!!!! We had chicken fettuccine Alfredo. Always good. It was a great time. We celebrated my birthday too!
Monday we sat in the rain at NK High School and watched Lauren's softball game. I worried about her because she was just getting over a cold.
The next game Lauren played such a great game on Bainbridge. We lost twice but she played first base and got lots of people out! She slid into home plate and scored. She had fun. She threw to second and got a player out but hurt her throwing arm (possibly hyper-extended it). Not good.
It was 17 years ago since we moved into our home. I still love it here. It is our comfy cozy home where I am happy and content. <3 p="">
Lanny had a terrible time with her medications for a time. They put him on a new one and it had bad side effects. He stopped taking the drugs.
My youngest grandson Jared turned 11! It seems so weird how quickly they have all grown!
Lauren got the spot of Head Drum Major for the band at her school. That is really something!!! So proud of her. She deserves it.
Michael passed away. It was devastating. We found out a month after he passed! He passed away March 30.
Lanny made a turkey dinner including the gravy! He did awesome! It was so tasty and I was careful not to overeat!
Got a surprising phone call today while at the gym from grand daughter Riley! Such a great surprise! < that girl!
Had blood work done. And Lanny had a stress test done.
Feeling blessed! Had an amazing dinner of lumpia, pancet, and chicken adobo AND got to visit with Lauren, Amanda, Aaron, and ANDREW was there!!!! So great to spend time with the whole family and share laughs and love.
Had such great seafood in Hadlock! Thank you Kevon and Karla and Dylan and Joel and Madi! It was fun and filling!!!! — with Karla Ellis Rogers and 3 others.
