My dream

I just woke up.  I came straight to my computer.  I have to write about my dream somewhere so I don't forget it.  It was amazing.  I went to a restaurant and my dad was at the door!  He was in a suit and like he was a greeter at church!  We gave each other the biggest hug!!!!  We both had tears in our eyes!  He was shorter than I remember. but he had legs.  When he passed he had both legs removed. So to see him standing there was amazing! He looked as handsome and healthy as he does right here!

My mom was also inside and I got to give her a hug and my brothers and sisters were inside the room too.  I was so happy to be together as a whole family.

I wanted to share it because I know it has to mean something.

I won't be writing much today.  I am still sick.   For some reason I am so stinkin' tired and I can't seem to think when I am sick.  I am sick of being sick.  It started out with the flu on Christmas. Got better and then Sunday I was hit with a cold.

My calendar problem is settled. Finally.  Have one in both bathrooms. I have one for for our menu in the kitchen. And then, best of all, I have my calendar next to my chair.  It is a 3 year calendar and is amazing.  I keep dates on it and I have for looks I have the one Karla gave me! It is smaller and I can't write on it but it does have a picture of her family every month. I love it. Have I mentioned this before?  I feel like I did but with a fuzzy head it is hard to remember.

If anyone knows of a way to get rid of moles.... please let us know.

I just got up and vacuumed the house and washed a few windows.  Exhausted me but now I am going to watch blackish.  I love that show.  And the Middle.  Just started watching the Goldbergs. Karla said I would love it.

I made a screensaver of baby animals for my computer.  Here are a few of the animals.  So, so cute!

Notice I am bored and have nothing to talk about. Lauren went to the doctor and her ankle is sprained. She is on crutches which is miserable for school. It is weird because she is so smart and nice and yet hates school this year. Middle school. Lauren is even worse with crutches.

My baby boy turned 37 years old today!  I called Kevon at 7 a.m....the time he was born and the time the nurse got off work and I had to push him out. lol

sick again. what?????

I cannot believe this.  I am sick again.  The flu two weeks ago and now I have a cold.  It hit me yesterday morning when I woke up. Stuffy head, very sore throat, sniffles, etc.. I hope the year is going to get better.  So needless to say this will be short.

Seahawks beat the Panthers so I am thrilled with that!  It was a really good game.  Next we play Green Bay this Sunday!  Super bowl will probably be us and Patriots.  I think they will beat the Colts.

Lauren spent the night Friday and we had fun playing Disney games.  Of course, she beat me every time.  I love TiVo!  We can record what we want when we want because we can record up to 6 programs at once! Plus it has a Suggestion place where it records shows we might like.  We end up deleting half of them but some are worth keeping and watching. We are getting the hang of it and now using it is fun!  You can watch YouTube and play on it like we did Disney.  You can watch Netflex movies on it too!  Lots of fun.

I should have known I was getting sick. Everytime I am getting sick I am really weepy and emotional. I was really emotional on Saturday.  I get my feelings hurt when I am this way. I had them hurt, of course.  I will do everything I can possibly do to avoid hurting someones feelings. If I think it could hurt someone I don't do it.  But not everyone works that way. Some people just do what they want and screw others feelings. Hurtful.  I got into two conversations in the same day. Cried after both. I should have known I was getting sick.

I love watching cooking shows.  I am really enjoying  Worst Cooks in America.  This one guy just cracks me up!!!!

I found some relatives the other day.  That was cool.  They are like 2nd cousins or something. I recognized the last name Lekness from my childhood.  So I contacted my brother, Doug, and he confirmed we knew these people. He is older so he remembers more than I.  Pretty cool.  Mom would be excited.  Yesterday would have been mom and dad's anniversary! Happy anniversary to them!

I'll be dropping in tomorrow because it is Kevon's 37th birthday!!!  I was suppose to have him over here for his yearly sweet and sour chicken wings but with me not feeling well and him just getting over the flu...not a good idea.  Maybe this weekend we'll do it.  Love my boy.

Already January 9th! Time flies!

I made this for my facebook cover today.  It has our defence Legion of Boom; Cam Chancellor, Earl Thomas and of course Richard Sherman. Then I put Marshawn Lynch with his super bowl ring. and finally Russell Wilson QB pointing toward the Lord.  Love our team.  They play the Carolina Panthers tomorrow. Hope you all have time to watch the game. I know we will.

I don't know why I can't get into blogging lately.  It is frustrating to me and not like I have anything better to do.  lol

I have been into calendars.  I love calendars.  I made one through walmart with some photos I have from the past year.  It took me a full day and was so fun. I got an awesome calendar from Karla and family for Christmas.  And it worked out perfect because I use just a plain calendar for my planning calendar and I have hers sitting on my table.  I can't really write on hers.

Then I have a mountains landscape for papa's bathroom which he uses for appts and birthdates etc. Then I have one in my bathroom.  Our cousin, Marcey, and I joke about having calendars in the bathroom but it is required in my home. lol! Here is a picture of "Joyce's command central".

Just got done riding my exercise bike. I do it daily now. Whenever Papa and Scruffy go for their daily walk I ride my bike. I wish I could walk with them but my back hurts so bad after walking for about 5 minutes.  I can't stand for any time for more than 5 minutes.  But i need to keep moving so I ride the bike.

The weather has been so foggy lately. Feels like autumn. I don't know if we will see anymore snow this year.  I love snow.

We got all our Christmas decorations down in one day. Took us several to put them up!  We were a bit sore after we got it done. haha!

Andrew and Lauren had a great time with their dad in California.  Some pictures they took and shared with me! They even saw a tiger.  I love tigers!!!!

They are simply growing up too fast!

Today is my nieces birthday! She lives on the east coast with her husband, puppy and cats!  My brother is her daddy.  I made this for her.  I hope she likes it.

My grand daughter, Riley, got her haircut.  She looks older and adorable!!!!!!!!
