We are really having a good week. Scruffy went to the vet on Monday and got a clean bill of health!!! Dr. Sara said he is solid and healthy and the spot on his belly is probably a fatty tumor and to keep an eye on him. She doesn't think it is cancer. And he got his shots. He is doing great.
I went and picked up Madi Tuesday and we went down and got pedicures. I got a dark red color and she went blue. We are beautiful!
We stopped and ordered her some Pho for lunch. Then we went to Burger King to get 2 Chicken Sandwiches on sale (something to heat up later). Stopped and got 2 Teriyaki dinners at "Teriyaki to Go". We went to the Dollar Store and got some tablets etc... On our way out of town her broth for her pho spilled in the bag. I called down to Pho Kim's and they GAVE us another container of broth! We were headed home and on the highway stretch going to Kingston there was a homeless man and his dog sitting alongside the road. I felt a tugging to turn around. Madi and I turned around and gave the man and dog the two chicken sandwiches we had gotten from Burger King and a bottle of water. He was so appreciative. He said most people drive by him looking at him like he is the scum of the earth. That isn't right. No one knows where he has been in life. He also said "You never know when you will meet a prophet of God." And said how people tend to get angry when he talks about such things. Didn't bother me. It reminded me to remember to pray for him and his dog. When we drove away Madi said "That was a really nice thing to do, Mam." Thank you, Lord.
We came home and ate lunch and watched some TV together. Scruffy loves Madi SO MUCH!!!! Papa took Madi home so she could go to Thai dinner with her family. lol! He loves to take her home because she is talkative and they have great conversation.
Today I had to be at the eye doctor at 8 a.m. Pretty early. But I got that over with. She dilated my eyes of course and my vision needs a little adjusting so I will be getting a different pair of glasses. It's been a few years. But she said my vision isn't affected by my diabetes at all. That is a good thing.
Good week for it being only Wednesday. We have all the grocery shopping done, all the bills paid, visits done, talked with Andrew today for a long time, and life has been pretty good today. Andrew leaves early Friday for Austria and the Czech Republic.
Enjoy life! It is awful short.
WELCOME TO MAM'S HOUSE!
This is the life of Mam and Papa We have lots of kids who gave us 10 beautiful and amazing grandbabies and now 2 great ones. Throw in a scruffy little dog and a new home and we have a great and blessed life!! We center our lives around the Lord and our family...

Monday morning
Scruffy is at the vet right now. He was due for his rabies shot and papa wanted to get a growth on his belly checked out and he has little wart things on his head. I hate auto expenses and animal expenses. They are both necessary but so expensive! Hopefully he is OK because Papa is so attached to this dog.... even more so since Sandy died.
Later this week he goes in to get bathed, shaved, etc... Rough week for him since he hates both places. Papa is getting his hair cut this week too. I told him not to cut so much off the top this time because his head is getting pretty thin up there.
Lauren called from Arizona this morning. It was so great to talk to her even though the last time we talked to her was Saturday. Seems like she has been gone for a long time. ha ha! Sounds like she is super tired because she isn't sleeping well. You know how it is when you are in a different bed. It takes a few nights.
Talked to Madi today too. She is going to come over tomorrow. We are going to eat and play catch up on shows. A past time we like to do together.
Friday I got to see all three girls! We went to the Mexican restaurant for Papa's birthday dinner. Here are the only grand kids that made it: Riley, Lauren and Madi.
The whole group of us....Riley, Madi, me, Amanda, Karla and Tara.
On the other side of the table was Lauren, Papa, Joel and Brad.
It was fun and good food. Papa and I took our leftovers home and had them the next night for dinner. The next night was really his birthday but had the dinner Friday night so we wouldn't bust into the middle of every ones weekend. For his birthday we just stayed home and binge watched Longmire. We really enjoyed ourselves!!!!
Don't have too much more to write today. Just getting a bit anxious about this dog. Wish papa would call and let me know what is going on. I figured Scruff would be more stressed out if I came with them.
Have a great day! Will drop by soon!

Doctors, animals and schools out.
I am working hard on trying to get my health in order. It has gone downhill for quite awhile now. There is a nurse, Lana, who is helping us with our diabetes. I am taking more. Papa is taking less now. He has had some low numbers lately. It is so hard to regulate it. Please pray for us. I am also working on my blood pressure. And our breathing has taken a major hit. Yep. But God is good and He will help us get through this. We also have doctor appointments coming up.
And Scruffy goes in to the vet on Monday. He needs his rabies shot and he has a little growth on his belly that needs to be checked out. Papa is really worried. He loves that dog so much. Praying there is nothing serious on the belly.
He goes for a haircut etc at the end of the week next week.
Here are some pics recently taken of some grandkids with their pets!

This is a busy week for some of the grandbabies. Last week of school, time to turn in every thing, time for final exams, time for goodbyes. I love these pictures the kids did of the graduates over the years. I don't think there is one of Andrew. This is their first day of school and last day of school their senior year.
For years Lanny and I watch TV after dinner. We've watched almost every Gunsmoke and Wagon Train. Now we are watching The Young Riders... and we are getting into Longmire (which isn't quite old westerns like the others but it is still in Wyoming).
Well, it is time to sign off Enjoy your night!

She's back...June 19
I love my site. I just don't use it often because I got wrapped up in facebook. Easy to do. But as I continued on in facebook and got sucked more into it's world it became my journal. Which was good but had a some negative effect too. Good: more people got to read it. Bad: more people got to read it. Only my friends can see it but still.... I started putting in too much information, I tagged too many too often, too much politics, too much of Jesus, too many comments, etc.... Now these were others opinions, I was even accused of being on it too much. So I slowed down on the TMI, I rarely tag, post politics, comment anymore. But I won't stop sharing Jesus! He is my rock and the love of my life. We have to share Him! That is our calling.
Now with all that being sad, I am moving back here where not as many people read or criticize. It is my journal where I can write whatever I feel like whenever I feel like without being judged. I'll still post on facebook, just not my personal thoughts.
Life is going good here. Just moving on. We have 5 high school graduates now and 5 more to go. We just went to Patricks graduation in Odessa and had fun. Rode with Kevon, stopped and met in Ellensburg for breakfast with the Rogers family. Good food! The graduation ceremony was good and then we went to a luncheon for him.
It was Father's Day and I miss my daddy. He was such a great person with a funny personality, so kind and accepting, and as much as I wish he were still here I am glad of where he is. He is whole with both legs again, able to walk, with my mom and Jesus. Couldn't get any better than that!
Very sad news... we had to put Sandy down. What a difficult day. She had the tumors but when it moved up to her eye and it started bulging Amanda found a vet to come to the house. Andrew, Lauren, Amanda and Aaron were at our house. Lots of tears!!!! We miss her so much. I think Papa misses her the most with the everyday habits, feedings, treats, etc. And Lauren comes over a lot and spent time with her dog so her loss is so deep. But I truly believe Toby and Sandy are together and so happy!!!!!
That about covers our recent days. School is out on Friday. Lauren will be flying to AZ to see her dad for a couple weeks. Andrew is leaving for Austria at the end of the month. Excited for them but I get a bit nervous and very prayerful when they fly. Not sure what the other family members are doing with their summer. I know Patrick is moving at the end of the summer to AZ to go to motorcycle mechanics school. Jordy and Tyler are getting married but not until October.
Today is my sister's birthday! Happy birthday Libby!!!!
Thursday is my brother, Rick's, birthday! Happy birthday Rick!!!!
And Saturday is Lanny's birthday! He will be 69. We are going to have dinner with the kids on Friday night in Azteca's. Can't wait!
Well, have a great week! Hope you enjoyed my page. Hi Teresa!!!!
