Long time comin.....and a long blog with pics!

It has been a long time since I posted.  It is a quiet Saturday here in Port Ludlow. Rain and misty weather.  I have a painful back ... probably from taking down decorations yesterday. That is always fun. I am not sure what to bring out and put up or throw away. I have stupid knick knacks. Some I like and some I don't.
Let's see if I can go back a few days.

We had our family Christmas a week ago. It was nice. We had 20 pounds of sweet and sour Chicken Wings.... an old recipe I've made for years. Lanny has taken it over....all but the sauce. You boil, fry and bake on low for a few hours.  Amanda made a nummy ham and brought over with some homemade Mac & Cheese. Karla brought a salad and snack food, Heather brought rolls and Tara brought dessert! Lots of good food and then we baked potatoes, put on some corn and papa made Jesus' birthday cake. Here are some pictures of our day....

I was so happy to get these pictures!!!! Thank you Tara! It's nice to get a picture of the family every year. The kids change so much! And I love individual family pictures and one of just my kids.  That doesn't happen too much.  I have some pictures that are just misc. pics....

Breakfast time!

Well this is a lot of pictures!   The next couple days went pretty good. Christmas Eve we just chilled at home and Lanny grilled steaks and onions. The cat got a tree house finally for Christmas and Toby got a squeeky toy and then a ham hock.

On Christmas morning we had a nice breakfast together and then I went and picked up my brother David and his daughters Alyssa and Jessica.  Brought them to my house and Don, Lois (sis) and Denise were here. We made a turkey dinner for Christmas. It was nice.  We had dinner and then played Oh Heck. A few more pictures....

After Christmas the week went pretty fast. Didn't do much. Went shopping and bought food. Nice to have the house full of food again. Ordered new phones. Should be coming next week. Nell and Jael came yesterday....back from Montana! So good to see them!!!
Got the cat neutered on Wednesday!!!!  He cried all the way to the vet! Found a new vet. We loved ours at Poulsbo Marina Vet but they are so expensive. It was going to be $200 to get him fixed and shots. I called Oak Bay Vet Hospital and it only cost $50!  They are going to do shots in a month and then boosters the next month. So we were happy.  I got to have Ella Bella for a day! Lauren loved it and took care of her mostly. We are going to have her twice next week too.

Kitkat recovering!

Putting away Christmas!
Well I am caught up on my blog I think. I may have forgot a few things but I think I got most of it.  I hope you have a great end of the year! It is almost NEW YEAR!
