fears, colds, jeff, and more colds......

I am naturally afraid of people, I think. Not sure why. I don't trust people. I just watched the paper guy go by dropping off the paper for the neighbor. I would be afraid of that job....afraid someone would be waiting for me at a box to grab me. I fear the dumpster area at my work at night. I'm afraid of parking lots at night. I'm afraid of staying home alone at night all by myself. Maybe it's the dark that I fear. Isn't it odd how we develop fears? And now I started reading a book Betty left me. She said she couldn't read it. So what made me think I could read it? It is called The Shack. Wow....very intense and powerful book so far. Keeps me on the edge of my seat. I'm half way through.... I will tell you if I recommend it after I finish reading it at work today. I had an elderly couple come in yesterday when I first started it and said it was a excellent book....they had both read it. So....I just can't read it at night.

Pray for Joshua and Patrick....ear infections! Yikes! That's no fun! Papa left the house yesterday and came to my work during my lunch break. We had lunch, he filled up my van with gas and bought milk and it all but wiped him out. He's still trying to recover from that outing. He should have stayed home. Which he is doing today. He is suppose to be at WalMart tonight but I am pressing him to take another day off to rest. This cold kicks your butt!

Papa has to work Thanksgiving. Not sure what I'm going to do since we already had ours. I know Karla is having her dad over so I won't be going there. lol. Kevon is going to Meghan's dad's. Maybe I'll just make a small turkey and a pumpkin pie for myself. num!

Work will be boring..... Jeff is gone for the rest of the week. Him and his wife went to Las Vegas! It's good he is getting a break. He works hard making others work hard. But we have fun when we work together.... he's a funny kid. Well, he feels like a kid to me.... not even 30 I don't think! Him and his wife put away $50 a payday for travel. Good idea.... since they don't have kids yet they should do this. She works in Seattle for the IRS. I think she is pretty money smart.

Well, Doug and Betty are going on down the tracks. They will be missed. Mom has the cold so pray for her. That really worries me! Doug had to buy cough syrup for his trip home. Hope he'll be ok. Now Betty will probably get it.

Gonna go....gotta color my hair this morning! Have that job interview tomorrow and don't want to look too ratty! Have a wonderful day today!

What's Ahead:
  • A dry day with sun and clouds following some patchy morning fog. Highs around the mid 50s with north wind to 15 mph this afternoon.
  • Big change is on the way tomorrow. Late tonight clouds increase and rain starts on the coast. A series of fronts will push rain and wind our way tomorrow. South wind will likely hit 25 mph with cooler high temperatures, around 50.
  • Expect a brief break to a few showers Thursday night, then more rain and wind Friday.
  • Saturday there will be a transition to drier weekend weather with a few showers and sunbreaks.
  • Sunday looks dry with partly sunny skies. More showers threaten early next week.
  • Early warning: Significant snowfall in the passes is likely Thursday and Friday for Apple Cup fans headed to Pullman.

I'm scared of the dark too! I don't go anyplace at night by myself not even out to my car in front of the house(the bear hangs out behind our house) I couldn't take pallets out at dark when I worked at Safeway, freaked me out. I bought coffee for the other guy I worked with so he would do it.
