Here is the Doppler radar in case you are trying to follow Santa tonight!!!!

There are so many things floating around in my head this Christmas Eve. So many things I am sure about in life and so many things I am not sure about.
Would you die for someone? Do you love someone that much? Well... Jesus loves you that much. Something to think about this Christmas. I know for sure why Jesus was born. God saw we were going to die because of sin. And because of His love he chose to send someone else to bear my punishment... to die my death. So Jesus was born. He came to be my substitute and when He was nailed on the cross He died for me and He died for you. He died my death, paid my penalty. That's the only alternative God had. Either He punishes me for sin ... and that's eternal punishment in hell or else He substitutes someone else in our place and they pay our penalty. And that's exactly what Jesus came to do, be our substitute. Not because He deserved it but because I deserved it and He loves me that much.
There are so many I would die for.... in a heartbeat! I am not sure if anyone on this earth loves me that much. I know some love me ( or some say they do and some don't say it but I think they do ).... but I don't think that love is strong enough to die for me. Maybe Papa does.
Pretty heavy stuff, huh? Continuing with more heavy stuff.... I am really worried about my mom. Lanny took her some things yesterday and visited for a while. Then I went over last night and took some cornbread with honey butter from Ryan and Amanda and some
Nyquil from me. Please, Lord, make my mama better!!!! Talked to mom a minute ago and she slept pretty good and is feeling one notch better. Which she'll take. It is a very slow climb to feeling healthy with this cold! Trust me I know!
Prayers for the cold list that I am aware of: papa, mom, me,
maddie,
joel,
amanda,
meghan,
lois and husband Don, and lots of friends!
I know it will be a very lonely Christmas. Mama is sick and won't be over so it will be just Papa and I. I am thankful we have each other! Still making a turkey so it smells like Christmas! Tonight we are going to church. That will be nice. Papa will watch the old Christmas Carol. Those are 2 Christmas Eve traditions we have. Kind of wish it would snow but it is too nice out.
lol! This was us in 1990 going to Libby's. That used to be a tradition.

Yesterday was a good day. Stayed in
jamas all day! Cleaned, watched some TV, Lauren took a 3 hour nap while Andrew and I watched the saddest show. I cried and he got angry. It was about animal rescue... and how they busted this home in Detroit that was doing dog fights. The
pitbull they rescued was so sad looking. Could hardly walk and they had put duct tape around his mouth so he couldn't fight back and hurt the dog they were training! So he was a bloody mess. I cannot believe people do these things to animals! My mind cannot fathom hurting an animal! I cried!
Some pics from the past two days.... dogs waiting to be fed!

The message from post-it's on my computer screen I found from Andrew one morning when I woke up....

Busting Lauren playing with the little Christmas tree....

Lauren loving on the dogs...

Those pictures make me smile! I changed my Christmas background for the last time this Christmas season! Hope you like it.... seems "cheery" to me! Maybe a few jokes to finish because this should be a happy post! Here are some Santa ones....

Some snow ones....

Some tree ones....

Here is a redneck Christmas tree....

I don't have much to write about! I pray you all have a wonderful Christmas and enjoy your time with loved ones! I will enjoy my time with papa! He is off both jobs til Monday! It will be nice! In case I never told my blogger readers before.... I love you! Merry Christmas!
Weather to Expect:
Some areas of fog and chilly temperatures as you get out the door on this Christmas Eve. We are starting out in the 20s and 30s, so some icy spots are possible on the roads. We will see the low clouds and fog turn to mostly sunny skies this afternoon with high temperatures in the upper 30s and low 40s.
High pressure will continue to hold over Western Washington through Christmas Day. This will keep us dry with mostly sunny skies during the afternoon.
We stay dry on Saturday with some more sun before a weak system moves in on Sunday. There is the chance of a few showers on Sunday with 40 degree temperatures holding through the weekend.
