Halloween Pasts...

A week gone by again?0

We left off where Maddie and Lauren were going to spend the night. Three days off for parent conferences.
When I picked up Maddie in Port Gamble, Dylan drove her there. It was so weird to see him drive. Without a parent!!! It was foggy for almost a week. Crazy!

While waiting for them I got to see all the pretty flowers growing there. It is an old mill town they take reallly good care of.  Enjoy the walk with me!

This building has the post office in it. Upstairs is where I use to teach aerobics class with my friend who was a nurse. Great old building. And the flowers you will see are in this fence.

It is always fun when they spend the night.

They spent most of the time in the toyroom. I need to clean it out. I need to take out the full size bed no one sleeps in. Pointless to have it when no one uses it. I was keeping it for when mom moved in with me but that never happened.  We have a travel trailer, 3 air mattresses, 2 couches and a love seat for people to sleep on. So, now I just have to talk to papa about it. :D

The next night Lauren spent the night by herself.  Maddie had a dental appt. ( no cavities). Lauren loves to read so papa gave her a little battery lantern to use and she loved it.

She made brownies all by herself and they were good.

And, of course, she frosted it! What a great job!

The animals don't usually sit face to face. Not Toby's choice.

 Saturday Lauren had a game in Poulsbo. She played goalie the whole game and Ryan ended up coaching again.

Halloween time!!!!!

Kitkat got his nails done last week. And papa moved the trailer. We tried parking it between the house and garage for a few months. It was ok but it is better to have it parked where we usually put it in the driveway. More sun hits it and it just feels safer over there.
Sunday Papa went with Lauren and I to take Maddie to rehearsal. It was 30 minutes longer this time so we went to the dollar store. Then we all went to lunch at Shari's again. I love time with grandkids!
It got crazy windy for a couple days. So lucky the power didn't go out. We watched the Seahawks Monday night. We won and we are 7-1 now, but it wasn't a very pretty win. We kind of sucked. lol!  We are a better team than we showed.

Well, time to eat. Chili and cornbread. Enjoy your Tuesday night!!!!

Toddler Tuesday, Kitkat playing, Girls at lunch.

Today is Toddler Tuesday!  It is where I am putting my favorite toddler pictures!
I just thought it would be a lot of fun because I haven't done too much lately so here it is:

I am only missing one family member. No baby pictures for him. But I wonder if you can guess the rest?

Ok....now let's talk about my cat. He is so funny. I have never seen such personality in any animal. He keeps me laughing. He lets you know when he wants to play, when he wants his cat box cleaned, when it is time to eat, when Toby needs in from outside, and all sorts of stuff.

Update on Toby. His throat was on fire with infection. He is on prednizone and an antibiotic. Also something to stop the drool. Look at my poor baby. The way the backside of his lip hangs down and drools.  He is starting to feel better. He has some strength. He was so out of it when he got home he had to be carried. He is still having trouble jumping up on the bed. Still coughing a little. We'll see what is happening when he is done with his antibiotics.

Several Sundays I've gotten to take Maddie to her pageant rehearsals.  It is so nice to spend the time with her and usually Lauren comes along. Went to Shari's for lunch and they had so much fun!!!!

There is no school the rest of the week because of conferences. So the girls are spending the night tonight.  That will be fun. They always have a blast.  They are soon to be tweeners but still play Barbies. Heather and Karla did for a long time too.  Well, I am going to go and possibly take a nap.
