WOW, what a great time we had yesterday! It was one of the best Thanksgivings I've ever had. (Except maybe the time Doug brought those cute army guys home....but that was another time....lol). My day started by going to Andrew's game.....Parker was there so we visited. He's such a great kid! I adore that boy. He's smart and funny and so kind hearted! Anyway....I had to leave before the end of the game and they were tied. They ended in a tie. The second game they won....and Andrew scored! Missed it again! Got home and put the turkey on and took a small nap. Very small. Then people started coming....starting with oldest bro Rick (his chihuahua) and his son Ricky. Then mom, Betty, Doug, Don, Lois and Denise showed up. Then Kevon and Meghan, Brad, Tara, Jordy, Patrick, Heather, Joshua, Jared, Karla, Joel, Dylan, Maddie, Ryan, Amanda, Parker, Andrew, Lauren, Libby, Rita, Vicky, and Taylor & Brandon (Ronnie's kids)! So we ended up with 33 people! But, ya know, it didn't seem like that many! The Lord blessed us with a beautiful day.... a bit nippy but so nice! David and the girls didn't make it....but mom talked to him on the phone. So we took a picture of mom and her kids that made it. Oh well. I didn't get one of my 5 for some reason. We had the best food! The turkey I made was really tender and juicy, great mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, and scalloped potatoes. Meghan made a incredible green salad with all sorts of stuff in it and also a pasta salad, Karla brought corn, drinks, and also venison sausage with cheese and crackers... and olive tray with peppers, asparagus and olives and stuff. That all went pretty fast! Kevon didn't even get any venison! Heather brought 2 huge packages of rolls and ice cream, Tara brought pecan pie, chocolate pecan pie, apple pie, and cheesecake, and a cheese ball with crackers. Mom brought ham and pumpkin pie, Lois made her famous sweet potatoes! Amanda brought this nummy bread and cracker with spinach dip and hummus dip. Libby brought her fruit salad. The rest brought pop, tea, milk etc. I am sure I am forgetting something....forgive me if I am.... but there was sooooo much food! It was great! I got the most gorgeous carnations from Andrew & Lauren ....yellow and orange! Just beautiful! Kevon and Joel played kickball with the kids outside.... didn't take long for Taylor to jump in the fun. The kids played in the toy room, some played video games, some adults (and andrew) played Taboo and Libby and I taught the kids Spoons. Ryan was watching some gross tv show in the den where this guy was gutting a Yak and eating the eyeball. That made Amanda and Libby leave the room and even Kevon covered his eyes. Brad and Meghan had to come in and look. We were all laughing at how gross it was! Ricky took alot of pictures with my camera and I took alot. It was just great fun. Brad had something to go to so Tara and Heather hung out here until almost 8....that was really nice! We got to visit! I would love to do it all again. Lanny got to visit alot with everyone....which was rare and good. But today he called in sick....his cough is pretty bad. I went to bed at 11....he went to bed but got up coughing at 2 and slept in his chair. We both woke up at around 7:00! That is sleeping in for me!

Andrew has two more tournament games....hoping to make one! Not sure if papa can. I have to clean today because I work all week long. Glad I'm feeling better! Hope you have a great day!
