pictures and nothing much else....

With the closing of November I have no birthdays to post, no anniversaries, no nothing. So I am posting from past Novembers pictures that I don't have exact dates for..... but they are good pictures.... hope you enjoy! I know Papa will.....Karla and my chubby little Kevon back in 1978!
Me and my brother David (yes, no show) in a whipped cream fight on Thanksgiving one year. Maybe that's why he didn't make it this year?
Grandma Wave (lanny's mama) , Becky and Jordy.I know this is Riley's bday part at the church... and she is a mess.... but don't have a date. Sometime in November.
Parker looks so cute sitting here ... is he just waking up or going to sleep? lol
Our 5 kids in the snow in November 1985!~ Ryan, Karla, Tara, Heather and Kevon!
Lauren and her first twinkie!Karla snuggling with teddy bear.
Dylan and Maddie
Karla in her walker
Kevon is in the pink tshirt with the ball... Lonnie, someone and Eli are blocking.Patrick looks like he's from China!!!! lol
Karla laying with the dog Punky..... strange huh? .... if you know Karla.
Kevon and Ryan in their room with cousins Ronnie and Donny playing video games! This is a happy / sad picture. Wish we could go back.
Jordan in her front yard when she was 2.
Grandma Langager with Jordy, Dylan, Parker and Andrew at church getting Thanksgiving baskets together for the needy.Papa and mam holding their grandbabies.... Dylan, Jordy, Parker and Andrew!
Lauren trying Grandma Wave's fudge for the first time! nummmm! See the smile in her eye? She loves chocolate.... like a true Black!Andrew loves bath time!
Andrew in the entertainment center minus the TV. He is the entertainment! These 2 pictures were actually taken on November 30th.... Maddie in b&w.... and several years later Maddie is praying with Joseph, Mary and baby Jesus.
I am so happy I have nothing to do today! I have stuff to do.... I just don't HAVE to do it. Ya know what I mean? Which is good because I feel yucky. My chest is tight, my lungs hurt, and this cough is nasty. Ended up getting up in the middle of the night again.... got on the computer but I can't remember what I did on it... moved the cat off my recliner and fell asleep. Papa has a full week this week at work and I couldn't keep him awake too. Sometime after he left I went back to bed and slept til 10! I don't know if I am getting lots of rest or not or if I am coming or going at this point. I think he gave me his cough.

I am going to take one room at a time today though. I am making my way through the house after I make my list today. Starting in the den. That is the room I face with my computer and I see it all the time. lol! Can you tell I have nothing to talk about? Heather called last night and we chatted a long time. That was nice. Dylan texted me last night after I went to bed with a "Guess what?" I guess I find out today what the what was if he remembers.

Well.... it is noon.... so I should either get on facebook or clean. hmmmm! I think that's a no-brainer! Have a great day and talk to God! He's waiting to hear from you!

Weather To Expect:
We have a few light showers north of Everett this morning with the chance of some patchy fog developing around the sound. A cold front is moving in later today bringing increasing light showers to all of Western Washington. High temperatures will be running in the upper 40s and low 50s.
We'll start out with some fog tomorrow morning with sun breaking out Tuesday afternoon. High temperatures will be in the mid to upper 40s.
More sun is in the forecast on Wednesday with highs around the 50 degree mark.
Another cold front moves through on Thursday bringing the chance of a few more showers along with breezy conditions.
We'll round out the work week with more sunshine on Friday.
Right now the weekend looks dry with much colder air working in.

Prayer and praising God today!

A couple of my favorite pictures were taken on this day several years back! The first one is Maddie in 2005. I really think this is cute!
My other favorite is Lauren and her daddy in 2003 both wearing matching hats sideways! She was only 8 months old.... isn't that adorable?Well.... that put a smile on my face. Good, huh?

Happy Birthday Jack Michael! Today is Michael's birthday! Michael is Lanny's little brother. Michael was born like every other child and went in for bowel surgery at 6 months old. In ICU the nurse decided to go out for a cigarette and left Michael alone. Somehow his oxygen supply was cut off.... the brain damage left his mentality level at the age of a 6 month old baby. He cannot talk, he cannot walk.... but he can love. Mom was encouraged to place him in a home ... that he wouldn't live past the age of 5. She wouldn't do that.... she took him home and he lived with her until several months before her death when he went to live with his dad. He is celebrating his 56th birthday today! He's always been a blessing and had a smile. No matter how long Lanny was away.... he always remembered him when he came home. Such a sweetheart! We all love Michael very much.

Jordy and Uncle MikeRita, Susan Lanny and Michael (Kern missing... Mom never did get her picture of all 5 together)
Sleepy head!
Michael has a sweet tooth!
with his daddy....

Lanny will be calling his step-dad, Jack, to see how Michael is doing today. An amazing story of love.

Don't have much to say today. I have a terrible cough and backache so I'm not doing any more decorating today. I've got all day tomorrow to work on it. And the next day, and the next.... Ryan and Karla are about the only ones that come by so it's not like anyone will see it. lol! I've got to rest the back.... it hasn't hurt like this for quite a spell. Last night I was up coughing my head off... so I sucked on a cough drop and did facebook stuff.... will have to go in and see what I did because all I remember is I kept falling asleep! Oh well..... it is going to be a great day. No rain, woke up at 9:30 and papa is already out cleaning vehicles. Yesterday was his day of rest. Haven't been to church in a while. Papa didn't want to go with that terrible cough and now I don't want to cough through church. One of these days... this family will be cough free I pray! Wow.... sounds like a gripe session! I best quit that stuff!
Except for prayer request..... I just got this news this morning:
Four Lakewood police officers were shot dead in a Pierce County coffee shop in what a sheriff's spokesman described as a "flat-out ambush" Sunday morning. The officers -- three men and a woman from the Lakewood Police Department -- were sitting in the coffee shop with their computers, getting ready to begin their shifts when the gunman came in at about 8: 30 a.m., fired on the officers and fled, said Ed Troyer of the Pierce County Sheriff's Office.LIVE VIDEO: Live Coverage From KIRO 7"It was just a flat-out ambush," Troyer said.He said investigators believe the officers were targeted, and it was not a robbery. The officers were in uniform, and their marked cars were parked in front of the shop."The four of them are known by everybody here," Troyer said. "We haven't got any information as to why this happened."He said there's a $10,000 reward in the case. The gunman is a black man, 5 feet 8 to 5 feet 9 inches tall, in his 20s or 30s, with scruffy facial hair. He was wearing a black coat and blue jeans. He ran from the scene and was last seen on Steele Street.
That breaks my heart.... the area is down by Tacoma. Please pray for these families!!!
Also mom has a friend at church that was cleared of cancer.... well now it is back and it isn't looking like a good prognosis. It has hit mom really hard.
Be thankful for your health, your families health, and what you have. You never know the future.

Hope you and your family enjoyed your long weekend... don't be sad it is over.... be happy you had it!

Weather To Expect:
A few sprinkles linger into Sunday morning, otherwise expect some clearing and temperatures warming to the lower 50s, with south wind to 10 mph.
Other than a little Monday morning fog, the rest of the work week benefits from a ridge of high pressure that will bring sunbreaks and highs in the upper 40's to near 50.
The only exception will be a chance of rain late Monday into early Tuesday as a cold front passes through.

Decorating day!!!!!

Wow.... yesterday was SO FUN! Four of the grand kids came over and got me in the Christmas Spirit! We had a ball and got SO MUCH DONE! The perfect picture was my first one.... it is of papa putting together one of his villages (he got it from his mama) during his morning coffee time. And can anyone tell me what was on TV? Perfect picture of my man! lol!
The kids came over! Here is Andrew helping Papa with the outside lights! Dylan mostly watched them.... not much he could do.
Here is Dylan with his tree....some day it will be his Christmas tree! lol!
Andrew getting frustrated working around my wind chimes. lol!

Lauren.... looks like she is begging but she said she was praying.Dylan and Andrew bring out the candy canes and start a sword fight... what else?
Dylan's job every year is putting up the snowmen collection.
Here he is with Punkin in the tree box! (Looks like he is on his cell phone too)
Here is Dylan checking lights to see which ones work. Of course Punkin is in that too.
Maddie putting up Christmas magnets
Lauren playing with baby Jesus
Lunchtime and Maddie is eating and watching Dylan wrestle.... they are both happy!
Lauren eating a turkey sandwich!
Maddie decorating the girls tree in the toyroom
The girls in front of their tree!

Andrew is done for the day! He hung up outside lights and inside lights and helped with the tree and stockings! He was a busy boy! Time to hijack my computer!!!!Papa is done too!!!! Can you tell?
Frosty and the stockings in the den.... Dylan put up the lights!
More stockings and the girls put out my Santa Village!
The kids stockings from when they were little.
The completed snowman collection....
The tree.... kids did a great job!
And Papa and Andrew did a wonderful job with the outside! It was frosty outside!
The pictures pretty much tells the story of yesterday.... except the fact that the kids all got to spend the night! That was cool.... had pizza for dinner and ice cream for dessert. Popcorn during the movies and the girls went down at 10 and laid in there talking for the next 30 minutes about school and stuff. They are getting older. Next thing you know they will be talking about boys! yikes! My back was killing me by bedtime ... but I think I had a smile on my face the whole day!!!! Then came the night.... Maddie didn't sleep very well last night. Neither did me or papa! lol! Everyone else was zonked. Lauren just got up at 9:30 and Andrew is still asleep. Dylan is shooting the b b gun... his favorite thing to do! I'm glad it is Saturday and not Sunday! God bless your day and have fun!!!!! Don't forget to laugh!
