soccer, pizza, and poor papa.......

Well, I am up early because I was hoping to get some housework done before I go to work today. But Papa isn't going to work.... he's sleeping in the recliner between coughing. Been there since 1 a.m. So need to keep it quiet til he wakes up. I didn't get anything done yesterday! I went to Andrew's soccer game in the afternoon.... Papa stayed home. We lost. The other team was obnoxious and rubbing it in with blow horns and stuff.... the ref finally told them to towards at the end! Judie Davison came to the second half of the game. Was nice to see her again! Andrew is in this picture with a stocking cap on. He's very aggressive this year in soccer! And good!Lauren played with her friend the whole time....her name is Moon. They were so cute together. Went to the Pizza party where they continued to play. The pizza party was nice. Andrew got a certificate, etc... and even Ryan got one! He made a small speech.... but I think it was huge to Andrew. He said he enjoyed coaching and the reason he coached was to spend time with his son who means everything to him. The boys said "ahhhh...." and Andrew smiled.... but I know hearing those words in front of everyone meant the world to him and he won't forget his dad saying that. Amanda and I peaked in the consignment shop next door. I thought the stuff was a bit high priced.
Stopped at Papa Murphy's and bought cheaper pizza (pizza factory is expensive and was a bit doughy), Albertsons and then home. Spent a quiet evening at home. Except for papa's cough. Working all week so I'll be busy. My brother & Betty leave tomorrow. I am sad. Going over to see them tonight. Hope Lanny is up to it.
Have a great day and may God bless your path!

What's Ahead: A dry and partly sunny day awaits, following some widespread morning fog. Highs will warm to the mid 50s.
Some light drizzle is possible tomorrow over Seattle, but spotty at most.
A wet system moves in bringing some widespread rain starting later Wednesday through Thursday and Friday. Breezy weather will send some of that rain sideways Thursday and Thursday night.
