1. The elections will be over and we won't have to listen to anymore ads and God will be God no matter what the outcome!
2. Doug and Betty are coming to visit!!!!
3. We're having a family get together when they are here!
4. It's our 24th wedding anniversary! I can't believe we made it.
5. I'm thinking my job will change.....
6. It is no longer dark October!
7. We get to see Heath and boys twice this month!
8. Thanksgiving....a time when we all reflect on what we are truly thankful to God for!
I'm sure I can come up with more but I will stop for now. I am going to try to remember something or someone each day in November that I am thankful for... a heart of gratitude is better than a heart with attitude...right?
Yesterday went good.... altho I was feeling wiped out from this cold. I'm on auto pilot. But papa and I did clean and get the mattresses out and beds made for tonight! The boys are going to be in the den, the girls in the livingroom. They'll be excited! Brought the picnic table into the diningroom... will hold all the kids better! I'm so excited about tonight, can you tell? The toyroom is fixed up just with toys to play with. Have a bit more to do before work this morning.
I had my interview. I really hate interviews. They stress me. I had to fill out another form at this place.... Westsound Orthopaedic. One of the questions was "When was a time you failed and how did it affect you?" Who EVER wants to answer that question! I interviewed with Christa and then with Peggy. In a few weeks, if I pass, I will interview with Chrystal. I barely had a voice and we laughed about it. Of course, I think it went well.... but did it go good enough to get me the job? Only God knows.
Decided not to go to mom's. She doesn't need a cold with Douglas and Betty coming out and all. She agreed. I did get 3 trick-or-treaters! One was Gregory... the neighbor boy as a ninja. And then a guy carried the cutest toddler dressed as a monkey and later a girl and her mom came. The girl's bag ripped so she was carrying her candy in her hat....I got her a bag and they took a break on the porch swing. lol!
Well I got things to do today so I have to get off of this computer. Have a few more posts and I am finished! Have a great day and don't forget to change your clocks back tonight!
What's Ahead:
Increased rain Saturday. Late afternoon winds will become breezy at times.
Sunday and Monday will have rain at times.
A few showers and sunbreaks will be scattered around with cooler temperatures Tuesday.
