Monday! And last day of September already!!!!

It is Monday again! Yay. Cleaned some windows already today and exercised. Not much going on. Some people were without power last night. Big storm came through. It was pretty nasty, I guess. For some reason I tend to sleep through them. We didn't lose power.  I am so thankful for that!!!! We still went to bed just after nine. lol!

We had a pretty good weekend!  Maddie and Lauren came on Friday night and spent the night. It was fun. The girls played in the toy room. lol!  They had a good time.

Saturday was kind of an early morning. I got up after 6 and Maddie was sitting on the couch eating peanut butter toast! lol!  Picked up Ryan, took Maddie home, and went to Lauren's cold, rainy  and windy soccer game!  We got to sit up under the bleachers because the game was at the North Kitsap High School Stadium. I couldn't believe they played on the whole football field.

Lauren's team lost.  She got to spend the night again so when we got home she took a hot shower and felt better. Didn't do much but watch the storm outside. Played a couple games, too, and had BBQ ribs for dinner. One of her favorites.

Sunday morning it was still pretty nasty out. Decided to stay home...at least until we took Maddie to her practice.  She is in there an hour and we just wait in the van. We listened to the Seahawks game.  Lauren has decided she is a Seahawk and Charger fan. She is learning more about football and likes it.  We stopped and had a KFC picnic in the van on the way home. That was fun. On the way home the Seahawks won the game in overtime by 3 points and we were screaming!  It was fun!

Meanwhile in Eastern Washington my grandsons were busy.  Joshua and Jared had their own football games.  And both made touchdowns!  They are awesome!

Meanwhile, Parker was working as a Barista. He is so awesome too!  He loves his new job.  Cut his finger on but he is ok.  ouch.

Ok, I have looked everywhere for biscuits. You could always buy them in the bakery depts of stores.  No one has them.  I guess I am going to have to learn how to make them from scratch. yikes! Now have to find a good recipe. Cindy Lou?

I love this little picture of my grand daughter Lauren. She took it herself. She is so pretty.

Grandson Andrew had a great week! He got his picture taken with a band, Cage the Elephant. He even got to get on stage and tell a joke.
And the one that really impresses me is the picture with Lorde. I love her voice! She is a 16 year old from New Zealand sings Royals, Bravado, The Love Club, etc...

If you go to my site you can see her sing...if this is forwarded to you then you can't. http://mamssite.blogspot.com   I hope you can see it because it doesn't seem wide enough here. Whatever.

Andrew makes many, many trips to Seattle. He loves it over there!

Well....I guess I am done for now. Have a great week!
