Lazy day... just right for lovin away....

The week is starting with a Monday again. Happens every week. Don't have much to write today. No birthday's, nothing on the calendar except to go to mom's and take her to get her blood drawn. She hates it!  We may need to see her doctor. Having some issues with her kidneys maybe. So I hope it isn't a sign of things to come!  It is like waiting for the other shoe to drop.

MY VERSE FOR THE DAY:

YESTERDAY:
The weekend was good! Had fun with the kids. Didn't see much of Dylan but he liked living as a hermit in the "man cave" with his video games.  The girls were good yesterday.  Maddie didn't get mad she had to leave.  As long as her mom explains why she has to pick her up now... Maddie is cool. Plus she is getting older. Lauren and I spent the rest of the afternoon laying on the love seat together watching some icarly, Victoria, and started to watch the Return of Nanny McFee.  Didn't get to finish it. Ryan came so she had to go home.  She will have to tell me what happens. ;D

ANDREW:
I am soooo proud of Andrew!  He ended up with a B- on his Science test and an A- for his final grade! He was so worried about it. He works very hard for his grades!!!! He does it because it is the right thing to do, because he wants so much to please his parents, to stay on the honor roll, and he is thinking about the future and college.  It doesn't always come easy for him, but bless his heart, he works hard.  I think it will come easier for Lauren.... she has a photographic memory like her mom.  Anyway.... after all the stress of last week.... he did it!

I don't have much more to write about. I guess I'll close it up. Washing clothes and cleaning today in between mom's. And thinking about loved ones. And praying for them! ;D That's about it. I am sick of figuring out dinners.  Are you guys?  I like to ask on facebook what people are having to give me an idea. Pictures wouldn't upload again on here so I had to pick some from previous blogs... picasa album. Dipwads!
Hope you all have a wonderful week! Enjoy your last day in January! xoxo

I didn't have much to talk about either so I did a repost from a year ago! I enjoy looking back to see what I was doing on this day last year! Funny thing, lots of days I talked about the same thing:) AND that's OK with me!

Hope you have a wonderfully blessed day, HUGS!

Love your verse from Jeremiah...I know so many people don't really like to dig into the Old Testament. It seems so unrelated to them to today's life...like no "how to live" instructions that are obvious in the NT. And yet the OT is so RICH with lessons of how God was working through the good and bad times with His people...always making it turn out for their good. In the NT we learn about Christ and His teachings and how to be a "little Christ", but in the OT...wow...I learn SO much about Who and What God is like. I see how PATIENT HE WAS with HIS STUBBORN people...and it makes me SO glad that I know HE is patient with me.
Hugs to you Joyce. (laughed at your Dipwads! bwahahah....)
