Snow, warm cat, faster blog.... and an ear infection :(

Snow, snow, everywhere snow! The news said it snowed in 49 states... even Hawaii!  The only state that didn't get it was Florida!  We got about 4-5 inches over night. I might as well show my snow pictures! I know ya'll haven't seen enough of snow!!! lol! So here are mine from last night.

Papa's work is 2 hours late. There is no school in North Kitsap, Central Kitsap and Bremerton School Districts! So most of my grandchildren have no school today!  The 4 boys on the eastern side of the state rarely get a snow day... because it snows all winter and they are used to it!  It's different over there too. School is closed in Chimicum too... our school district over here.

This is what it looked like now that it is raining this morning.
Enough about the snow.  My poor Makoa was feeling awful yesterday!!!!  He wouldn't even eat cheese! He kept saying owie and grabbing the right side of his neck. He slept and I kept him focused on Yo Gabba Gabba, Spongebob, etc... His mom came back by lunch to take him to urgent care. He has an ear infection. Poor baby. So when she text me she said he was eating and playing and already feeling better. Praise God!  I felt so bad for him. I am not sure if I will be seeing him today or not?

Some have asked about my toe and how it is doing and how I sleep at night? Well.... I cut away at the toenail some so it is looking better. Isn't falling off yet but I wiggle it. Like a loose tooth. But I don't think I'll wrap it with a string and attach it to a door knob in the near future. At night I instinctively use my left foot to lift the blankets to move my right foot.  I don't even think about it, I just do it. Sometimes I sleep with my foot outside the covers.  Then.. this morning I was sleeping with a cat down there and when I covered my foot I covered Punkin... so I feel her move up the bed. I wake up and get out of bed this morning and this is where she was. How do I have any room?  And I cannot disturb the princess.
I know... my sheets and blankets and cases don't match... but they are sooo comfy and that is what I need. We have a heated mattress pad and she loves it. The animals still haven't gotten up yet!

I started sorting through stuff. Old papers and stuff to burn. Amazing how much we safe thinking we will need it some day!  So I am beginning to purge and destroy. That is good news to my girls I am sure! ;D

My mom called me last night and thanked me.... she said she had a wonderful anniversary! She said "I know you reminded everyone."  So my brothers and sisters all called mom and talked to her yesterday and acknowledged the day. Good job peoples!  Libby (her accountant) went and did her bills and made some phone calls for mom... and got her some groceries!  My mom is looking so wonderful and feeling good! I give God all the glory and praise!!!

I found this new background which is totally me!!!! I love pink, I love blue, and I love snowmen! So I snagged it.  Then I came across a site on how to improve your blog. This is what I got from it: One is not to have music... it slows it down and scares people who are not expecting it.
Two is make paragraphs... makes it easier to read.
Three... don't use dark background...it's harder to read.
Your site should load in less than 5 seconds or people get impatient. So I tested mine... it was almost 6. I removed some stuff and it loaded faster... 3.3 seconds! You can test your site here: http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/
I loved this link regarding blogger etiquette:

Well.... I guess I am done with my day yesterday.  Today I have no clue what is happening. So I'll let ya know tomorrow! ;D  Have a great day, stay safe... and stay warm!
