Pray for Dave today!

I cannot stop thinking about Dave this morning.  He may be my ex-husband but I have known him for over 38 years.  That is a long time.  I am trying not to worry... like Karla said ... it doesn't help or change anything.  I am trying to give it to God. Put it in His hands. And as I write this it is happening!  I have witnessed to Dave many times to no avail. He is very independent and self sufficient having grown up without a mom and a pretty detached dad. He sees no need for a God, calls it a crutch. I don't know if he is atheist or agnostic. Depends on when you talk to him. His mom was a believer... and her parents... his grandparents. Great people that tried to show him the way. I pray he comes to know God in an awesome way and that God pulls him through this surgery so there will be praise and so him and Kevon can be brought back together. "Grandpa" just happens to be Dylan's favorite person in the world, too.  They have always been super close since he was a baby. I can't even measure up to Grandpa Dave.  Please Lord... pull him through!
Here he is with Dylan and Kevon!

And at our class reunion with Maddie and Karla

Pray for Karla, too. She acts so calm and collected but she has always been a daddy's girl! He is the most important person in her life after Joel and kids! She took the whole week off to be with him and help where she could. I told him to be nice to her!!! Not to get cranky and impatient.  And pray for his wife Cheryll.... I know how she is feeling.  I've been there with Papa.

Well, the snow is all gone. The excitement of that is all a faded memory.
Toby looking at the snowball I through at him and missed. lol
I have Makoa today. I'm so glad he will be feeling better!!! The other day about broke my heart! Sick kids and animals do me in!
I don't know why this blogger has been working weird lately. It doesn't put the pictures where I want them.... and all sorts of fits.
Well.... I don't know what this "Insert break does.... we'll see when I post! Have a good day everyone. Pray for Dave and be blessed!

Weather to Expect: Torrential rain Friday morning. The weather will be mild, wet and locally breezy through the weekend.

I'm praying here for Dave, his wife, Karla, Dylan, Maddie and of course Kevon! Life is so short to have anything come between loved ones, perhaps this will bring Kevon and his Dad closer!

Enjoy your day my friend and keep us informed on how the surgery goes! LOve you!

Praying for Dave, and my special blog friend Karla. I know how her heart feels, and even if you're a rock strong person, when something's wrong with your daddy, you hurt. Plain and simple.

Love y'all!
