| Joke of the day.... too funny! |
I seriously don't have much to write about today. It is Saturday morning at 8... I am having my coffee and fed the animals.... papa is still asleep. The only plan we have is Lauren has a indoor soccer game today. That will be fun! And I am cleaning the toy room this morning!
Yesterday I got the den clean and pretty! Looks really nice. I started on the toy room and then papa got home early. He vacuumed up some cereal we found there... and then I worked a bit more in there before taking a shower.
ALL ABOUT LANNY: We took him to his doctor appt. Mom canceled until Monday. Lanny liked my doctor! He went in for a letter and walked out with blood missing, xray, breathing treatment, ekg, etc.... It was like a full physical! I mentioned his breathing wasn't too good lately. He tried to lighten it... but she went for it. Checked his last xray against a new one they took yesterday. He is ok. He has COPD... but we knew that in 2007 at the hospital. Well, I did, he doesn't remember it. They took vials of blood. She said his EKG looked better than last time. Kay came in and did this breathing treatment. Wow! I thought he would pass out he was shaking and purple! He did good! We left with 2 inhalers, higher blood pressure meds because his upper number was 170 (which he blames on the drive in... I was driving). It hurt... $100 we didn't have. Oh, well.... whatever helps my baby!!! Now he has to use them instead of set them on a shelf. He got his letter too. Bangor needs to find a place to put him since they closed his shop.... there are many places with deadly fumes. He can't work there because he cannot smell. He lost his sense of smell when he had his pituitary tumor. So if the mask leaks he wouldn't know! Plus the fumes can effect the heart if you have heart disease or have had a heart attack previously. That is him. So she wrote him a letter that he cannot work with toxic fumes. We were at the doctors for 2 hours!
ALL ABOUT OUR WEATHER TODAY:
A few days of light rain will transition to much cooler temperatures and sunshine for the beginning of the work week.
We will have areas of light rain Saturday and stay in the 40's.
There is a chance of snow early Sunday.... with morning lows in the 30s.
We will shift into a dry, colder weather pattern with plenty of sun for the work week ahead.

Well, I'm glad he got everything checked. I hate going to the pulmonoligist for breathing treatments...they do make you shake & after hitting that inhaler as many times as they make you your heart feels like it's going to explode :/
Our insurance went up as well as our co-pays YIKES!

Been there with my Daddy! I went to EVERY pulmonary Dr appt. that he went to! We both loved his Doctor and his Doctor LOVED my Daddy! Tell Papa to do what he is supposed to do:) Gotta take care of him!

Popping in real quick this morning to check up on you and make sure you are behaving! lol..Glad Papa got to the doctor and got "things" taken care of...and I know it is HARD to get men to do that... And medical costs and insurance rates are so astronomical anymore it's no wondr people don't go to the doctor for years!..IT DOES HURT! Sounds like you all had a great girls day out. new GOODWILL!!woot! No wonder your mama was smilin'... Hugs to you girl. Just poppin in to say hey! Have a great Sunday. **I have been trying/attempting/ purposefully pursuing not sitting my rear down in front of my computer for so much time each day. It was a necessary practice I needed to start. Gonna keep on keepin on...til I feel I have the healthy balance and stewardship with my daily allotted time from HIM. xoxo
