My first night on Gilligan's Island.... let me sleep!

After spending the afternoon rearranging and cleaning the livingroom, watering plants, down-sizing diningroom table, dishes, laundry, freezing a couple meatloaves and making meatballs for dinner ... Toby and I went out on the deck to relax. I read "Twilight"... he guarded me.
This beautiful bird caught my eye... it was on the apple tree taking from the blossoms. Very pretty... I don't know enough about birds to know the name.
Such a calm, pretty view last night as the sun was going down. You can see the Cascade mountains in the background. Very quiet and peaceful.

Papa didn't get home til 9:45. That is quite a commute for getting off at 8! Stinks. He did see the bulge part of the bridge is now gone. (The part that you drove that came out and in). He wants to take me for a "ride" today. we'll see. We don't have any other plans, I guess. Have no ticket to cash. Let me explain the ticket thing....

I SOOO didn't want to wake up this morning!!! Seriously!!! My dream was so wonderful!!!! Far fetched but super awesome. ok...here goes:
I was at this place... like a hotel banquet room or something. There was this contest going on... Ryan Seacrest was hosting it. I was sitting on a couch by myself with a ton of cd's and stuff. He was doing the count down of over 100 singers and songs and eliminating them. I kept waiting for my song to come up and it never did and never did. I just made this cheap cd of me singing this song.... can't remember what song. I think I wrote it. lol! I fell asleep on the couch and Ryan woke me up to tell me I won... everyone was applauding and I won $400,000! I started crying and told someone to get Lanny. He comes out (a foot taller I might add and carrying an 8 month old baby girl) and we hugged and cried. While leaving we were being congratulated. Then Paul McCartney told me congrats as he was doing dishes and I realized then that I beat out Paul McCartney in a singing competition!!!! And Rod Stewart and a whole bunch more! Amazing. I dreamed I fell to my knees crying and thanking the Lord while walking up a ramp. Karla and Kevon believed me but Heath wouldn't. I had to show her the ticket (which looks like a lotto scratch off I can cash anywhere). I couldn't wait to tell Candice! I was so happy... all my bills would be taken care of and then some! When I woke up.... the bills were still there, I was alone in my bed, and still broke. Didn't even have Paul's respect anymore. I hated waking up.

I posted last night... had to show off my handsome grandson. I just adore this boy. He is such a wonderful personality! He's our Joshua!!!

No one guessed the clip so I'll give you a hint "I Say a Little Prayer For You". Does that help? Chick flick! Romantic comedy.

Mom is better. Not as sore. Libby is staying there all week. Lanny passed her on the boat going to mom's.

Cat was out all night..... second night in a row. She loves this time of year! Lanny's main reason for staying on this side was that cat! He said if something happens to her staying out all night he's going to me mad!

A Birthday shout out to Melodee from church... she is a sweetheart (Tara knows her.. she is a local teacher too). Also happy birthday to my niece Taylor Ann! She is 9... I think. Beautiful girl! Also Leslie Gore turns 63, Larry Gatlin 61, The Rock (Dwayne Johnson is 37 today! Just because you want to be "in the know".

What's Ahead:
Temperatures will be at least ten degrees cooler Saturday and rain will develop through the afternoon.
High temperatures will be in the low to mid 60s Saturday and only in the 50s on Sunday with rain showers.
A stronger storm will increase rain late Monday along with breezy to windy conditions Monday night into Tuesday morning.
