sunny days, birthdays, and great moods....

I am feeling so much better! Practically normal... whatever that is. Papa is at the counter watching Fox News.... as usual.... and drinking coffee. Lauren is in my bed. Maddie crowded her out and took all the blankets. Maddie is spread out across the mattress wrapped all up in blankets. I already tried to wake Andrew to take a shower, but he must have went back to sleep. Dylan is sitting in his bed (couch) awake with Punkin on his lap petting her.

Yesterday I did laundry, cleaned some, brought the mattress out while Papa burned the branches, washed my van, and changed the oil in his car. Karla said the kids wanted to come spend the night. I felt great so no problem! Mam's doors are always open. Lauren wanted to come too. I called Tara but her girls couldn't come. Papa picked up a pizza (Papa Murphy has a sale on his pepperoni pizza!) And we just had fun as usual! Girls played outside with Gregory, boys went to the beach and played on the hammock... it was so nice out! A bit chilly but beautiful. When the sun went down it got really cold! The girls and I had to go out on the porch swing for our "moment" after dark ...it went really quick. Everyone but Andrew was in bed by 9:30... and the 3 were sleeping by 10. Not bad. This morning we're going to the 9:30 service at church. Then we really have no plans for the day.

Today is my great nephew's birthday.... Sean is 18!!!! Now all 3 of Ricky and Kelly's boys are considered adults. Wow. They were just little kids playing hide and seek in the dark at flagler... and being scared by ghost stories! What happened? Time, right? I would post his picture but the last one I got was when he was 10? A happy birthday to Sean!

It is also my buddy Scott Oliphants birthday! We've been friends for 40 years! wow! His daughter, Christy, goes to church with me sometimes... a sweetie! And his wife, Berta, has been my friend for life! They actually met through me. I went to the tolo with Scott years ago (as friends). We've always had a fun and strange relationship. He's a fun guy and I love him dearly. Here is a picture of us at the Tolo, at my birthday party in 1980, and us at our reunion in 2004... he hasn't changed alot... but I have! Happy birthday, Scott!!!!

Yep, Karla does look a lot like you. Spring's making its way to Washington too! Hope you'll stay on the mend and that PaPa doesn't catch the rotten stuff.
