3-18-09 : sick & tired and tired & sick

WOW ...I don't know what happened but I am so sick! I was fine yesterday morning and then I got this sinus headache bad.... and freezing cold. So I took some NyQuil and laid down in bed. This was at 10:45 a.m.. Woke up at 3:00!!!! Got up and still felt bad. Threw some chicken, potatoes and carrots in the oven to bake and fell back to sleep at 6. Woke up at 8:00 and papa made me eat something. We were both in bed by 9:15. I woke up at 2:30. Will be laying down again soon. My head is ready to explode. My nose is running. Reminds me of that Jethro Tull song "snot is running down his nose, greasy fingers smearing shabby clothes." Kevon is probably the only one that knows what I am talking about... I'm fuzzy headed and rambling. lol! nevermind. Did get to web chat with my friend that has moved to England!!! It was 10:30 a.m. there so that was a good thing. Papa didn't sleep well last night. He went back to bed... said he's going in late. Probably worried I would breathe on him all night is why he didn't sleep well... but he wouldn't say that. lol!

More birthdays for the week! We had 3 on Monday, 2 yesterday, and 2 more today!
First it is Tina's birthday. She is Don & Ernestine's grand daughter... but they raised her so she is their daughter. She is such a sweetheart too.... they did a great job! Happy Birthday, Tina!!!!
It is also Nancy's birthday! She was my "Ernestine" when we started at our church, she came up to me and welcomed me and we've been buddies ever since! I love her so much! She is in our bible study group and I can always count on her friendship! Happy Birthday, Nancy!!!!

Sadly... I didn't get the room cleaned... not looking promising for today either. I think I will go lay down again. I'm so thankful for my heated mattress pad! But, this really stinks. Have no idea where it came from but it can leave now.

Please pray it for a quick healing for me! Also say a prayer for Teresa's sisters Brenda and Barbara for good test results. Also for papa.... he is so tired and it's his long day today. Thanks for your prayers!!!

Hope your day is good and full of happiness and peace!

What's Ahead:
Wednesday high temperatures will be closer to the average of 53 in the upper 40s to low 50s.
Expect increasing rain into Thursday as a cold front moves in.
After a rainy Thursday, showers will persist both Friday and Saturday with cooler temperatures.
Sunday will be partly cloudy with only a few showers.

Oh I sure hope you get to feeling better. Speaking of birthdays, when is yours? Mine is May 9th. I was born on Mother's Day:) My sister, Brenda, went to the heart doctor and her heart is fine. They are now checking her kidneys. Something is making her blood pressure real high. They did find in all these tests that she has a hiatal hernia. Now she will have to take medicine for that. My sister, Barbara, has not heard from hers yet but should hear today!

I will pray that you will be feeling much better!

Have a blessed day,
Your Georgia Friend... Theresa

I know Auqualung too! Jethro Tull is awesome. He is an all time great flutest.
Sorry to burst your bubble but if it is like what Emma and I have had then you will be sick awhile. She is feeling a bit better but not a 100%. I am still not feeling great and it has been 2 1/2 weeks!
I see the dr. tomorrow in Seattle so may get more medicine.
Hope you feel better soon. Renee
