A light at the end of the tunnel!!!

Slept in til 6... papa was sleeping in his chair again. Whatever gets him through the night.... is alright. He's feeling fine, just having trouble sleeping. I know it happens to everyone... but I worry about everything that happens to him. He's my life!

Feeling better today! Finally feeling human. Started feeling better as the day progressed yesterday! When papa came home he said I looked alot better. Not gorgeous... but alot better. lol! I was looking pretty pale and shabby. Papa also did the grocery shopping yesterday for me. Now, that is an awesome husband!!! He did a great job, too! Not many husbands would want to do the shopping!

Andrew and I talked about the bus incident again.... of course he heard more of the details. I see why it was 3rd degree rape now.... but that poor girl. She hasn't been back to school. Those poor parents. This is a parents nightmare... that someone would hurt one of your children!!! Both boys... the one who held her down and the one doing the act are expelled for the year. They both need major help. Andrew said they are all part of the "cool kids" group. So much for cool. Wonder if he still wants to be a part of that group? Keep the girl and parents in your prayers.

Well... I really have nothing else to say. Candice called last night on her way to Seattle. She is singing with the 5th Avenue singers at the Pacific Northwest Ballet' Broadway Festival at MacCaw Hall during intermission... she's been doing it for two weeks and she is soooo sick. It says: "BROADWAY FESTIVAL audiences will discover that the show doesn't end when they leave their seats; during the first intermission, patrons will be treated to a selection of Broadway show tunes performed in the McCaw Hall lobby by three of Seattle's most talented performers, familiar to audiences of the 5th Avenue Theatre. Billie Wildrick, Jeannette d'Armand, and Candice Donehoo will perform a short set of songs from the Broadway hits 42nd Street, Anything Goes, Crazy for You, and Funny Girl." I felt so bad because she was coughing through half of her drive to the boat! I also felt bad because she only had time to eat Taco Time... not sure how her night will play out. May find out today. She sings again today and tomorrow is her final day. Pray for her. I'm exhausted doing nothing... can't imagine doing what she is doing.

My sister-in-law from Oklahoma called yesterday. I just love Rita. We have great conversations and she always makes me smile. She is an amazing person that I love and respect so much! She's been through such a rough time and she is doing so much better.

I guess I'll get on Facebook for awhile. Decided to try Twittering again, too. Karla started me on that a long time ago. Kind of fun. You all have a great weekend! Thanks for your prayers....I'm feeling much better. Please keep my cousin in your prayers... she is going to have to have her eardrum reconstructed. Renee wrote about it in her blog.

God bless and enjoy the second day of Spring!!! Lauren asked me yesterday what I was doing for the first day of Spring. I said "Nothing." She said "WHAT????" She was shocked!!!! Sorry. Next year I'll plan better. lol!!!

What's Ahead:
The first weekend of Spring looks to bring us pretty quiet weather. A stray shower with sunbreaks is in the mix for your Saturday with high temperatures running in the low 50s. In fact, many of you look to stay dry for the first half of the weekend. A few more scattered showers with sunbreaks expected on Sunday. Increasing rain and wind will arrive on Monday.

Thanks Joyce. Still trying to convince myself of the bionic ear. It will be nice to hear again without everyone repeating or me plain missing conversations all the time.
