Great Sunday... church, games, Grandma's and wrestling explosion!

We had a great day on Sunday! After church we stopped at Walmart and got the kids a bite to eat... and Andrew bought a new DS game from his birthday money! Got a good deal on it and $5 off with our discount... so he was happy... and pretty glued to the game after he got it. The rest of us went outside. Lauren and Maddie played on the big wheels after helping papa with the recycling stuff. Lauren loved riding... Maddie not so much. Here is a little "maddiism". She came on the deck when she was done and I told her she had to put the big wheel back. She started to throw a fit and I told her to stop. She got on the porch swing and got a bit of an attitude. I said "You're not going to play with them when you come over next time if you don't put it away." She said "You'll forget because you're old." I said "Papa won't forget." She said "Yes he will... he's older than you!". Little booger. She can be so smug. Good luck Karla! She's getting things figured out... but now I am determined not to forget!

Dylan played in the hammock. Don't know if it's as much fun doing it by yourself, but I think Dylan likes playing by himself sometimes more. Andrew was inside playing his video game. Then he went over to check out papa cleaning the birdbath and papa got him wet.
We came inside to play Sardines. Andrew and Lauren didn't want to at first but papa and I played so they played too. It was fun. If you don't know the game it is basically hide and seek.... except backwards. Everyone sits on the couch and count (papa saying all the numbers in wrong order which the kids thought was funny and started doing it too) while one person hides. When you find that person you have to quietly hide with them til everyone is hiding with you! Gets kind of crowded sometimes! I hid by the cat box behind coats on the coat rack and they found me right away. Papa hid the best... he stacked the dirty clothes bins and was standing behind it... took them forever to find him. Dylan found him first. I also hid behind the Patio door curtain... not only could they see my slippers sticking out they could see my silhouette.... they all came running and climbing behind the curtain with me... it was fun and cuddly and a sweet moment! We had fun!

Andrew did take a break from the game sometimes.... here is snack time after our Sardines game. Ice cream cones! Maddie wanted a Otter pop instead. They are really into Spongebob during their break!!!

Time to leave.... Lauren is unhappy... Maddie is ready... even with her purse. Lauren cheered up when I told her we were going to Great Grandma's!

The kids got to meet Mr. Morrison.... grandma's cat. They loved him! He entertained them with his toy... they thought that was pretty funny! And of course, they loved seeing Grandma! Here they are with her.... we're posting more pictures on her sight today too!
And great Aunt Libby was there, too! That was an added bonus for us! They love Aunt Libby, too, and she always has good stories to tell that make them laugh!
Next stop was cousin Grants house. He is a wrestler.... and a bit obsessed. He has thousands of wrestling memorabilia! Dylan was so in awe!!!! So were the others that aren't huge wrestling fans! It was great getting the tour down the hall and the 3 rooms full of stuff from Grant and hearing stories! Man, we all loved it!

Those are all action figures you see lined up everywhere... he's got posters, autographed pictures, cars, cards, movies, everything that ever came out!
Here the kids posed with Grant. He offered us free passes to go see him wrestle soon! That was exciting. Don't know if the parents will let them, but we'll see.
The rest of the day settled down after we took the kids home. We lazed around and had a simple dinner and watched Amazing Race and went to bed right after it was over! Punkin walked around crying for a bit at bedtime. She misses Dylan to sleep with so she tells us about it. But after I turn off the light she quits and goes to sleep by herself... probably on Dylan's bed. Toby is just wiped out from trying to stay alert to everything going on with the kids. He watches. Both the animals sleep alot after grandkids go home. So do we! lol! I didn't wake up til 6:00!

Today I am just cleaning. The den is a disaster.... not to mention the toy room. The rest doesn't look bad... cleaned up a bit while playing Sardines. lol! Hope you have a wonderful week! Hope it goes fast and you are all blessed!!!

What's Ahead:
A rather interesting weather day develops as a storm front brings rain to most areas, but enough cold air aloft could prompt some isolated snow in the heavier showers this afternoon over the Kitsap Peninsula and southwest Washington. Hood Canal and the Chehalis valley are most likely to see any of this snow with an inch or so possible. Southwest winds 10-20 mph with highs in the mid 40s today across most of western Washington.
Showers will continue through Tuesday and Wednesday morning. A break from the wet weather is expected for the second half of your work week.
Mostly cloudy skies threaten a few showers Friday and the weekend.
Mountain rain and snow today could bring up to 3 inches of new to the passes.

I'll bet they loved meeting the wrestler. Looks like y'all had a good time. Maddie looks so much older with her haircut.

Loved the pictures. My grandchildren are huge wrestling fans (the big kids) and would love to have seen all that stuff! Mr. Morrison is a beautiful cat! Love to all!
