concert, christmas lights and cookies.....

Well.... woke up to a couple inches of snow! I didn't think it would. We saw some yesterday going into the mall and driving around looking at lights last night, but it was nothing to write home about. But here we are. Not sure what else it's going to do.

Yesterday I wrapped all the presents. Which was a good thing because Andrew and Lauren came over last night. After papa got home we went to the mall and watched Jordy in concert. It was nice. She has quite a fan base.... two sets of grandparents, Ry, Amanda, Andrew, Lauren, Kev, Meghan, her mom, Ms. Carrie and Zach! And her parents and sister! That is quite a few! We left there and Andrew begged his parents to go with us so we met them and took the kids to Kings Wok. Papa and I were hungry for it. Then we went up and saw where I work and went to Poulsbo to "Woods and Meadows" and looked at Christmas lights. Pretty ones....but there was an amazing one I am posting.... they have you tune into a radio station and their lights flash to the music. Too cool. We sat there for over 15 minutes. Then we ran to walmart to get rice krispies....amanda begged me to make Kevon's Chocolate Balls for today. Came home and it was still early so we sat around and snacked, took goofy pictures, watched some tv, etc.... It was really nice.

Today will be busy. Andrew has a game at 8.... and papa has to work at 8. So we need to call Ry in a bit and see how they want to work everything with the roads. Libby's party is at 2. I'm so excited for it!

Well....got cookies to make more stuff to post so stay warm and snug! God bless and please be safe!

UPDATE: Well....Andrew isn't going to soccer....it is still snowing off and on so Amanda called and cancelled. Lucky dog gets to sleep in.... and they can help me bake cookies! Check out the videos! I have Jordy's on my YouTube site at her concert yesterday....and one of Lauren singing (sort of) All I Want For Christmas is My Two Front Teeth." And the two of Christmas lights posted above. Dylan told me about this place! Candice lives just up the road and directed us there. Pretty cool.... worth going to in Woods and Meadows off Thompson Road in Poulsbo!

WEATHER:
Snow accumulations will range from 1-3" by Sunday morning with low temperatures in the 20s.
High temperatures Sunday will be in the 20s near 30 degrees.
As an arctic boundary sags over western Washington Sunday; dense, cold air will become firmly entrenched in the valleys for the week ahead. Wind will remain strong and potentially damaging in the north interior as arctic air pours from the Fraser River valley. Wind chill factors will be near 0 in the north.
The next round of snow is expected Wednesday with temperatures remaining in the teens and 20s through the following weekend.
This stretch of below freezing temperatures could beat the six day stretch we had in 1990.
