weather update for tonight

Snowy this evening as the rain and snow mix turns to plain snow with colder temperatures. Expect 3-5 inches over the North Sound and Eastside areas. Seattle and areas south could get 2 to 3 inches tonight. Expect a mix of rain and snow along the coast.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for north and east communities, and for the Cascades and Olympics with up to 2 feet of mountain snow by tomorrow morning.
Snow turns to snow showers later tonight and into Thursday morning.
Then clearer, colder air rushes in through Saturday, before another storm system threatens more snow Sunday and Monday.
