FRIDAY!!! Lunch with meg, dr's, and vets.....

It's Friday!!! That is pretty exciting! I've come to love Fridays. Papa is off today. He's got lots of work planned for around here.

Had a pretty good day yesterday. Work was work. Did I mention the other day that a girl that started a week before me was fired? That was sad. You have to be on the top of your game to work there.... hope I'm not next!!!!

After work I met Meghan at Shari's for lunch. The food was good... but the prices are absolutely stupid. She only had a bowl of chicken noodle soup and a salad that shared the plate with the soup and it was $7.99! I think that one is off my list now too. We had a great visit though and I got to see her new vehicle. It is so pretty!!!! I love it! So does she!

Went to see my doctor for a follow up for my anemia. We always have such great conversations! She is a good doctor. Took a test and she's putting me on an anti-depressant. I took the test and checked almost all of them. Hope this helps me. Plus she put me on allergy medication.... she thinks that's why my eyes get blood shot, watery, I can't seem to shake this cold since October, etc... I have to go give up some blood. My BP is still a bit high and she wants me to watch it.

Anyway.... went to the store to buy some produce and ran into Julie. Do you remember me training (or shadowing) at the vet office? She is the owner/vet. I told her what happened when I worked there that one morning... the backstabbing of other employees and the disloyalty to the bosses... how I was ignored and treated. I know it upset her but I was gentle. She was so grateful to get the feedback and a bit shocked. I think she's wondered why she's had a hard time hiring. Well, there ya have it. One lady has left since then... Julie's hoping that was the main problem and it's gone now. Hope so, too.

Well....got some cleaning to do tonight and the morning. Tomorrow afternoon we're having company! Ron & Sharon, Cal & Bev, Dick & Mary, and possibly Craig & Cindy over for spaghetti! It will be so fun to see them all again! I miss them!

Well....that's my news. Hope your day is good and treat others gently.... you don't know what's going on in their heads....

What's Ahead:
FRIDAY: Starts with fog and ends mostly cloudy.
SATURDAY: Expect a mix of sun and clouds and a chance of light showers of rain or snow, mostly over the south Sound. It doesn't appear that there will be much if any accumulation.

Sounds like you have a fun weekend planned. I bet you make awesome spaghetti! Glad work's getting better, too. Around here lunch for $7.99 is a bit of a bargain!!!
Oh, yeah, have you checked in on Harper the baby that I'm following on my blog? She's getting sooo much better. Praise God. Her mom is amazing. She has such faith!!!
