braces, david, and riley.....

Jordan before braces......
With braces......
And the end result.....that's my pretty Jordy girl!

I love this day....it is payday Friday, which means papa's only day to sleep and I get to spend most of the day with him! Today....Amanda invited us to go with her to watch Lauren get on the bus and meet her at the school and watch her get off! What a big girl she is! Then we're picking up mom and taking her shopping. Her car has been in the shop for over a week!

David graduates from drug court Tuesday and is moving back! He already has a place to live. Now instead of commuting to work over the pass .... he has to commute over the ferries. Not sure what will cost more! But will be much better in the winter!!! If he could find a place on the other side of the sound ... he would move over there, I think. But this was the only cheap place he could get. At least he's close to his girls! Keep him in your prayers, please!

Whether you are democrat, republican, or independent....you have to admit that Sarah Palin's speech was amazing the other night. She is a great speaker and I have nothing but respect for her. They said last night her teleprompter wasn't working right part of the time and she had to wing it. She did pretty good! At the gym, everyone is talking about how amazing she is. She kind of came out of the woodwork just like Obama did! Never heard of either until this election! What makes me crazy is all the rumors and lies and inuendo's that are flying around. If you get that garbage through the internet.... don't pass it on. That's all I'm gonna say about that.

Yesterday was a good day. Went shopping, to the banks, got gas for 3.79 a gallon at Walt's chevron in Poulsbo, baked 2 black berry pies and went to work. Saw a car accident in Silverdale. A big 4x4 truck backed into a small car at the light. Not sure why he backed up.... but pretty sure he didn't see him. Meghan stopped in my work. She liked my gym! She wants to join. Riley started kindergarten and loved it. She was so tired when I called last night....she was cuddling on the couch with mom... so her enthusiasm was a bit waned. The best news of the day is Jordan got her top braces off!!! She is so pretty anyway....look at her now! Well, that' about it.
Hope your weekend is great!

Today: A mix of sun and clouds with a chance of some afternoon rain near the Canadian border. Highs around 70 with light wind going north to 10 mph this afternoon.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Some showers possible over the north Cascades. Lows drop to the mid 50s.
Saturday: Morning clouds, becoming mostly sunny and warmer. Highs in the upper 60s to mid 70s.
Sunday: Sunny, with just a few clouds at times. Highs in the 70s to low 80s.
Monday: Mostly sunny, mid 70s.
Tuesday: Partly to mostly sunny after morning clouds. Cooler, with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s.
Weather Summary: High pressure offshore continues to insure dry weather for Seattle. Some clouds and a few showers will detour over the north side of the high, into Canada. That will spread some clouds over Western Washington today but limit any rain to the far north this afternoon. Back to more sun tomorrow after morning clouds... with sun the rest of the weekend... and beyond.

Did you also read that Sarah Palin's speech only had 1 million less viewers than Obama's. She has been involved less than a week and Obama has been in this campaign for 19 months. That isn't too bad for someone so new to the campaign. I think the more the rumors fly, the more publicity she gets. They just might be doing her a favor. She is very well liked in Alaska and has done good things for them up there. You don't see Chris Gregiore saving us money like that!
Man, it is so frustrating!
