maddie, dances, and thank you.....

Good morning. Had a good day yesterday. Stopped at Karla's to deliver tickets and Maddie was very happy to see me!!!! She hugged and hugged. Worked all day and sold a couple of memberships to some really nice people and had a fun day. After work I got a few things at Wal-mart and talked with papa....then came home and ate. Amanda called and invited me to meet them at Lauren's school for a dance. It was fun. Watching Lauren dance with her mama and then we were sitting there and a boy came and grabbed Lauren to line up in a chain with him. I got teary eyed there. She was having so much fun! Talked with Jessica and saw Ali too. Sweet girls! The kids came home and spent the night. The 4 of us listened to songs we hate on the computer....like Horse with No Name and In-a-gadda-da-vida. I hate those songs. It was fun, though. Andrew spared me from playing the whole song.

Lanny has really appreciated all the messages, cards and phone calls regarding his mom. They really do mean a lot to both of us. You are all so special to us....and you know who you are. Thanks again.

Today I take kids home and work. Will miss soccer games again...that makes me sad. One of these days...maybe. Have no plans after work. Except to watch 24 sometime this weekend. Have a great weekend....despite the weather. It's our last official weekend of summer! Monday is the first day of Fall.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy, areas of morning drizzle. Highs in the lower 60s.
Saturday night:Showers developing. Lows in the lower 50s.
Sunday: Light rain. Highs near 60.
Monday:Mostly cloudy, chance of showers. Highs in the lower 60s.
Tuesday and Wednesday: Mostly cloudy, scattered showers. Highs in the middle 60s.
Weather Summary: The sunshine and 80 degree temperatures from earlier this week are long gone for now. We're going to stay in a cooler and cloudier pattern through the weekend and into next week.
