No... not a cold!!!!

It's a rainy Sunday morning in the Pacific Northwest.... and a bit foggy! One of those drizzly days I guess you would call it.  Our weather man has lots of different words for rain... you have to get creative because we see a lot of it: raining, drizzling, sprinkling, showers, downpour, flood, sheets, misting, cloudburst.... lots of terms to all basically mean the same thing.  I love rain though... that is why I continue to live here! That and family!  I love my family. I think ours REALLY take each other for granted... but I think we still love each other and would be there in the end for one another. At least I know I can speak for myself!

BFF'S!
I just had a huge laugh out loud moment!!! Sandy started to fall asleep laying there on her stomach and the rest of her started to tip over on its side and she jerked awake and looked to see if she was falling off something. I laughed so hard... maybe it was one of those "you had to have been there moments".  Sandy and Toby love being together!  They go outside and run and just have a good time.

Lauren running up the field with the ball!
Speaking of family... yesterday we went to Lauren's soccer game! It is so much better to see her on this team!  She is doing so much better!

Last night she soaked her feet... not because they hurt but because she wanted too. When she discovered her popcorn bowl would float she got an idea!!! lol!
Lauren in her "woman cave". She is watching 12 Dancing Princesses this morning... she hasn't seen it forever.

They still love the Christmas lights up and plugged in.
Lauren woke up at 2:30 this morning congested.  Her nose was killing her and my snoring was driving her nuts!!!! (Her words). She had climbed in my bed with me earlier ....and papa went out in his chair. At 2:30 we traded spots... Lauren and I went into the living room and papa took back the bed. I couldn't find any medicine for her... not for stuffy noses.  After about an hour past I gave us both Nyquil... her only a tad... me a little more. Then she watched TV until she fell asleep at 5:30.  I slept until 8:30... she got up around 10.  She definitely has a cold.  So this morning I took her breakfast in her "woman cave" and she is enjoying the peacefulness of the door shut and being left alone. ;D
But I think I will go bug her for a while. Go watch some of the movie with her. I don't think she will kick me out.

Sadly, Kevin Burdick passed away from esophageal cancer yesterday morning. This is the classmate of mine I asked you to pray for.... now please pray for his family.

I loved Julie's post this morning.... I loved the song!  I hope you all get by to see it!  Love you all and pray for a blessed day!  xoxo
