colds, colds, every where there are colds!

What a great Tuesday morning! Sure, it is cold and windy outside. Sure I have felt better in my life. Sure I spilt coffee down the front of me. Sure half of my family is sick.
But our God is great! He controls the weather, heals the sick, loves me, provides for me, gives me the lift I need to carry on! Sure... there is probably nothing that will stop me from spilling... but I am used to it. lol!  I am not coordinated. Neither is my mom, my daughter or grand daughter maddie! It just trickles down through the genes.

Yesterday I didn't do much of nothing. Lauren came to be sick with me and we laid around watching tv and eating. We did play Mario 3.... but that about wore me out.  She is a good girl. She didn 't have a fever... so that was a good thing. She has a cough and stuffy head. Praying for her and for Jordy too, she isn't feeling well.

Today I am chilling again... well... hopefully chilling and keeping warm... if that makes sense!  I wear turtleneck sweaters when I don't feel well because it keeps my chest warm. My chest always gets cold when I am sick. Mom had an appt in Bremerton but I changed it to Thursday... when I will hopefully feel better and can take her to it!

I will leave my usual... my memory picture, verse and some other interesting stuff....  have an awesome day! Stay warm!!!!!
Tara had titled this "The Real Riley".... poor baby girl.  This was really the real riley below!

I made this one... I am going to make more with scenery too.

I loved this marriage advise from the 1877 Farmer's Almanac ... still holds true!

How to Make Your Husband Happy
  • Never speak slightingly of or to your husband in the presence of other people.
  • Do not neglect neatness of person and surroundings.
  • Speak gently always, and do not allow your voice to become sharp and loud.
How to Make Your Wife Happy
  • Treat your wife as politely and kindly as when you were wooing her.
  • Do not speak lightly of her cares and fatigues, but sympathize with her troubles.
  • Share your pleasures and cares, and show that you value her society and advice.
Our favorite saying: "For a happy marriage, never speak loudly to one another unless the house is on fire."

WEATHER:
Cold and dry wind will help keep temperatures in the mid 40s despite the sunshine today.
We'll stay dry through Thursday.
Clouds will increase on Friday with rain moving in during the evening.
This will be the start of more rain on the way for the weekend with some wind Saturday and Sunday.
