The weather outside is frightful.

Seriously... you cannot believe how cold it is here.  With the wind chill factor it is down in the single digits.  Which is very cold around here.  Cold anywhere...but we are not used to it.
We have been very fortunate... we haven't lost our power.  Karla lost theirs again yesterday. Mom lost hers too... so she has no heat. Not even an elevator that works!!!  We can't go get her because there is ice and wrecks every where and mom wouldn't get into the car if we could even get there! So that is bad.  She said she is just keeping warm in bed with lots of blankets. Praying the power comes on soon in Poulsbo!!!! Please pray it too!

If you check out our weather... its not so good. I don't have much to say! All our kids got home safely last night but one... Ryan was on a bus about 6 hours and then it went in a ditch and his friend came and got him and took him to his house to spend the night. Haven't heard if he is home safe today.  Kevon went to work. Pray he'll be ok. I worry but the kids aren't really good about checking in with me. I guess they think they are old enough they don't have to check with "mom". But I still worry about them. Always. Just have a peace knowing they are all ok. Ya know?

Thought I would post a few things that HAVE made me smile.

Two years ago today we were decorating for Christmas!

Lauren was taking a break with the snowman!

Dylan was in for a longer break with Punkin!

This was taken 11-23-2004? Maddie was not happy!

Have a warm day and I will leave you with this wonderful verse!!!!
Solomon's point in this section is that God has a plan for all people! He provides cycles of life. Timing is important. The secret to peace with God is to discover, accept and appreciate God's perfect timing. The danger is to doubt or resent God's timing. This can lead to despair, rebellion, or moving ahead without His advice and guidance. Read all the way down through verse 8... it is amazing. Thank you God... for your timing in my life.
