Celebrating someones life and another ones birthday today.

I am in pain today. I was in pain yesterday. Not one to complain (lol) I didn't mention it in yesterdays post.  It is in my right shoulder blade/back area. I think I did it moving furniture and stuff with my sister on Thursday. It hurts to be on the computer, in bed, in the chair...it ought to be fun driving too.  Tylenol isn't helping.  Oh well.... I have lots to do today... I can't worry about it.

Yesterday I said I was going to rest... and rest I did! I changed bathrooms around and did laundry and putsied around.... but nothing heavy. Watched for the snow that never came. Lots of phone calls came it today. Lauren's wrist is fractured from the roller rink a few weeks ago. Weird because she could do anything with that wrist... you just couldn't grab her by it.  They find out Monday if she gets a cast... so pray for her.  Talked to Kevon yesterday..... there are some medical issues going on with a family member of his and Karla's.  Praying for him too! Just seem like lots of stuff going on. Lanny's sister, Rhonda, lost her Grandma this week... she was 100 years old. What a blessing to have her around so long.

I wanted to post this video of Toby with his new toy. He loves new toys. Especially ones that squeak!!!!

Today is Merideth's "celebration of life". I will be going to it. I am sure to see lots of old friends.  She was loved so much by so many!

We also have Riley's birthday party today. That will be fun! Love birthday parties! The joy and happiness on the birthday girls face is great.  I will bring my camera!
The Christ Memorial outreach thing is today too.  I wanted to be a part of it but don't know if I can squeeze it in. Doubtful.   Tonight Papa and I are chilling with some steak I was suppose to cook for dinner last night! I was sleeping in my chair when he got home. He is so sweet... he made us pancakes for dinner. A no no on my diet. Need to watch myself better.

No-show davo didn't show up yesterday. But I talked to him on the phone... his girlfriend has a sister, who had a battle with cancer before, was just diagnosed again with it.  Praying for her.  Not sure when he will make it over.  Whenever... whatever. I don't lose sleep over him. He is a big boy and will make it when he makes it. ;D

Here are my memory photo's from November 20, 2004! Karla invited us to go to Pt. Defiance Zoo with her family.  It was such a great time. I love going places with the family and it was great being included.

 Leaving you with this verse and my thought for today:

It amazes me that God pays attention to me. I have His full attention when I pray! David was a great role model to us most of the time. He is known as "A man after God's own heart." Maybe because He talked to the Lord... evening, morning, and noon time too. He prayed all day long. That is a great way to keep your priorities straight during the day and to stay close to God. When you think of something or someone during the day.... pray. You have His full attention anytime!
