The eagle has landed and is safe.

Posting again tonight to let you all know we still have power but mom doesn't... so she is here sleeping with an electric blanket in the bed in the spare room... all comfy and cozy.
Karla had called because she has been out a long time too and the kids wanted to come over to my house... have heat, hot food, computer and tv!  Karla and Joel offered to pick up grandma too. So they all came over. Treacherous roads but Joel did great. He is a good driver. He must be... I trusted him with my mama! lol!  I'm a bit worried about mom... she seems so tired and wiped out. The power outage took its toll on her and stressed her out. Plus the cold.  She was chilled to the bones so she went straight to bed... slept a few hours and got up for dinner.  Her and the cat sat and watched the news and stuff.... then she went back to bed.

The kids played in the snow. I will have to post pictures tomorrow. It's not letting me. Oh well... just wanted to let you all know all is good here! ;D
