Keep it rolling!!!!

It is already Sunday which means the weekend is almost over! It sure went fast!  My brain isn't working this morning... I almost wrote "it shure whent fast."  Weird.

Went to mom's yesterday and filled her pills. Didn't stay long.... I am getting better so I will go Thursday and visit with her!

Wednesday is our 26th anniversary!  We both are working. Oh well. 

We went to Jordy's birthday party at the skating rink last night! I have tons of pictures but will try to limit it. Posted them all on facebook.  I couldn't get my camera to take good pictures in the lighting...and the speed. Tried lots of different settings... you'll see...

What can I say about Patrick... Mr. Athlete... he got on skates and off he went. He didn't care how often he fell... he just kept going.. and he was good!!!!

It was fun!  Even Karla, Tara, Amanda, Don and Ryan skated!  Ryan went to state playing hockey so the kids were all impressed by him! lol!  Of course there were some injuries.  Parker was first when he fell his first time around the rink and landed on his arm/wrist. Patrick hurt his leg,  This morning Riley's legs are sore, Jo's butt hurts, Patricks leg hurts, haven't spoke to Karla. She didn't answer her phone so maybe she couldn't get out of bed. She took some hard falls.  Last night on face book she said it was fun to act like a 13 year old again... but now she needs to be a 35 year old and ice her knee. lol! (I just talked to her and she is doing good!)

Maddie and Lauren came home and spent the night with us.  Papa made them popcorn.

I had my table cleared off yesterday... really I did! Papa brought in an old lamp with a chain to turn it on and off. They thought that was the coolest thing ever!  That sure dated me!

 

It is so important to listen to what God's Word says... but it is much more important to obey it... to DO what it says.  We can measure the effectiveness of our time in the Word by the effect it has on our behavior and attitudes. Just hearing isn't enough. Even Satan knows the Words.  Are we pleasing God and doing what He says.... remember... He isn't just suggesting what we should do...He is telling us how to live.... How to be more like Christ!
