Not a lot of good news... um, actually none.

Sometimes I wish my blogger friends lived closer. Some days I could just use them!!!!

Craziness. I tell ya, craziness.  My whole day changed in a minute. Mom wasn't feeling well. Libby took her to the hospital. I picked up Lois and went to the hospital.  We were there for about 4 hours and they told us she is dehydrated and has a U.T.I.... so they started treating her with an antibiotic and some fluids in an I.V. and that she could go home in about an hour. So... an hour passed and the doctor said they saw a spot on her lung... pneumonia.  They decided to keep her over night to treat it. I'm glad. Whatever makes her better!!!

I was really sad to look at my friends, Julie from North Carolina, blog when I got home. She lost her mama to a 15 year battle with cancer. Breaks my heart... but rejoicing she is in Heaven. I cried for her. I know the pain of losing a parent.  It is one of the hardest things to go through. It is a like a cord has been broken.  Please keep her and her dad and family in your prayers.  You can read about her mom... so beautiful: http://faithgraceandjoy.blogspot.com/

I think my mama is ready to go. Today at the hospital she said she feels dad with her more and more. She doesn't hear him speak but just feels his presence. I don't know about all that... but my mom is a strong Christian woman and she believes he is going to show her the way to her Heavenly home.  She doesn't have a death wish or anything like that... but I know she is so tired. And ready. I don't even know what to say.

These little snow circles made me smile. I picked up Lois and it is a little thing Don had done. Didn't know he was a snow artist!

Well... I didn't get to church. I didn't get my house clean (I will have to get up at 4 a.m. to prepare my house for Makoa!), and I didn't get to see Justin and Denika. I contacted Justin on the way to the hospital so I am not even sure if they came over on this side of the ferry or stayed in Lynnwood. Lois and I stopped at the restaurant on the way home and peeked in... no one there. So sorry we missed them... but nothing we could do. :(

I love this song. He always makes a way.

God will make a way
Where there seems to be no way
He works in ways we cannot see
He will make a way for me
He will be my guide
Hold me closely to His side
With love and strength
For each new day
He will make a way
He will make a way
By a roadway in the wilderness
He'll lead me
And rivers in the desert will I see
Heaven and earth will fade
But His Word will still remain
He will do something new today

Well... going to get ready for bed. I am exhausted!  My heel is killing me and I need to take my dog to the vet. How can I do everything? God is still there for us and will always be.

Oh my dear friend! I am praying for all of you up there! Rest and healing for all!

I read Julie's blog last night and my heart just broke! I knew that her Mother was nearing Heaven's door and felt in my heart that she had moved on to be with Jesus!

I will continue to pray for your sweet Mama and for Julie and family!

Big hugs! Love you!

Ohh, Joyce. I hope your Mom gets to feeling better soon. Those UTIs are not fun at all! Tell her we are all thinking of her. Hang in there!
