praying and praying.... never give up.

This morning it is really tough for me to post. My Toby isn't doing well at all.  I want to have the faith that God will heal him, but I just don't know.  He didn't eat yesterday. I brought kids and Sandy over to cheer him up but it didn't work. So I took him to the doctor yesterday afternoon to run some tests. The urine test came back fine but we won't know the blood results until today. I am afraid it is cancer. The tumor he had removed... I think it may have been cancer and that it spread quickly.  They put water into him, he had a slight temp and he is weak. When papa came home he didn't even get off the bed. It is soooo hard.  We took some pictures with him last night.

Maddie is very sad.. they've been buds since she was a baby. Her mom won't let them have pets so this really has been her only pet!

Yesterday I took mom to the doctor early...9:00. He was happy she lost 8 pounds! He needs her to lose it slow. She goes back January 6th.. Libby is going to take her. After we left there we went to breakfast.
I think mom is looking pretty good.
Picked up Maddie, Dylan, Lauren and Andrew.... took Andrew to the ferry to go to Seattle with friends. We came home and hung out. That is when we decided to take him to the vet. Only Maddie and Lauren spent the night. Lauren has a fort so I built Maddie one. They were going to sleep in their forts but changed their minds. They play in it....

 And slept here....

Maddie surrounded by stuffed animals.
Lauren wanted to sleep in the chair!
Well.. today mom has a hair appointment, I have to pick up pills for her by tomorrow. All I want to do is cuddle Toby and my girls and watch TV. I will keep praying for him.  Sorry this is sad, just how I am feeling.  Have a wonderful day and enjoy getting ready for Christmas. It is almost here! xoxo

I am so sorry to hear about Toby, that is so hard. We went through that not long ago. I hope he will improve.
On the hand, your mom looks good. Hopefully she will continue to get better.
Have a good day. Karen

Well girl...here I am finding myself all weepy for you. It pulls up memories of when Annie Grace was cancerous...Oh she did not feel good and would crawl under my bed with her stubby little tail to me, and wouldn't turn around and look at me...I cried and cried. I knew what was going on..I know it is so hard for you Joyce. We love them so much. My heart just broke..
I am praying for you. Whatever happens with Toby...know I am with you in spirit...I am thinking of you throughout the day, and praying little prayers when I do, that you will feel the comfort you need to walk through the hard days. If God would see fit, I pray he will let you keep Toby , if only for a while longer. I know that dog has been loved in his home, and he has had a good - very good life. God bless your week and know you are in my thoughts. Hugs to you. (by the way, your mom's smile is contagious...)
