growing up before my eyes!

I am trying to get it through my sweet darlings head not to be offended when he hears the word "holiday"!  The word holiday goes back to "Holy Day".  Which is not a bad thing. I see the holidays as the whole time between Thanksgiving and new Years!  Oh well.

During all the decorating commotion the cat found a hiding place in the toy room. Usually she is all up in it... she must be getting old. lol!

Lauren putting the angel on the tree!

Andrew straightening it out.

Experimenting with camera. I didn't know it did this!

Lauren decorating the little snowman tree.

Lauren made a fort under the card table that has my Christmas town on it. It is in the corner between the love seat and couch. This is me peaking in. Andrew barely fit!

Lauren having a sandwich and water bottle in her fort! Andrew's long legs are taking up a lot of room! lol

Andrew taking a break from his game to do the lights on my tree. He did an awesome job! He is a good guy!  This is my first time putting it in the window corner. I love it because it reflects the lights off the windows too!
I love all my decorations up!  Lauren and Andrew put all the elves in the grand kids stockings. They decorated like crazy and my house is beautiful.  We mostly did the den in lots of lights... chilled out on the living room a bit this year.

Andrew is getting so grown up!  Lauren was outside playing with Gregory and Cameron so Andrew and I took Toby for a walk.  A chance for Toby to get out without his cone on. He loved it!  We had a great walk and a great talk about God and different religions and doctrines.  He is so smart! He is growing into an awesome young man!  He would like to be a Pastor.  That would be so cool.  He is almost 15.  Sometimes it is hard for him because at times he likes hanging out with the cousins but he is also starting to outgrow them.  I remember that age. Almost too old to "play" but the adults don't want you hanging out with them either.  So many stages in life.  I remember our own kids at that stage with their cousins. I remember them wanting to hang out with Marie instead of playing with the kids. I totally get where he is coming from.

Have you noticed all the cartoon characters on facebook? It is to draw attention to the terrible issue called Child Abuse!  It is only suppose to last until tomorrow but maybe it will go longer since some are just getting it.  My character is Clarice... Rudolf's girlfriend!  She sings "There's always tomorrow" in the cartoon movie.

Please pray for my heel! It hurt last night and woke me up a few times during the night! I overdid it yesterday I am thinking.  I am going to the doctor Thursday!  This is ridiculously painful! Diagnosing it myself with google... we came up with plantar fasciitis, a condition that is sometimes also called heel spur syndrome when a spur is present.  Don't know if it is right... just know it hurts like crazy!

We are going to mom's today to spend time with her. Give Lois a break and let her go home to get some stuff done.  Not sure how long mom will need someone with her... but I'll see how she is doing today. I best go get in the shower so we can get going! Have a wonderful day!
