who needs a hug????

This was our visitor yesterday... well, him and his family! There were three of them. Toby went banana's.... but I couldn't let him out. After about ten minutes I walked out to give them a hug "Does somebody need a hug?"

Just kidding... but I sure love that part of the movie! I love Buddy!

I also colored my hair yesterday and washed that gray right out of my head! Here is the real me gang.... no make up, white lips, au natural. I am going that way more and more..... make up is bothering my eyes the last month or two. I know I look bad this way.... but I am getting old and don't seem to care anymore. Oh, that is so not true. If I go in the store with no makeup I wear my sunglasses in case I see someone I know. lol!

So my goal was to post last night but I was laying on the couch not feeling well at all. Stayed there until bed. Not a cold or anything contagious... just a girl thing. So i also don't do much of anything or go anywhere when I get that bad. Sure explains my mood the day before! lol! Needless to say, I didn't see mom yesterday but I bugged her by telephone. lol! She sounded pretty strong last night. Mama wanted a cheeseburger so I asked Kevon to drop one off after work and he did. She was soooo happy to see him. Not because of the burger but because she loves him. Visitors thrill her. That's why I felt bad not going yesterday. But she kept reassuring me it was ok.... maybe she is tired of my face anyway. lol! Libby went there a couple times. She talked to the dietitian and hopefully got things straightened out. Mom needs to speak up! The other night they served her a roast beef sandwich... no condiments. Just a dried sandwich with no mayo or anything to put on it. Now, I would have said something and got a packet of mayo. But she worked there for 20 years and understand how busy they get. Whatever.

Anyway.... I am going in today. Hopefully I will be feeling better... but mostly she will. We are doing pep talks every day and keeping everything positive! ;D

"Give glory to God in the highest. Praise His name for He makes us stronger when we are weak, fills us when we are hungry, and gives us something to drink when we are dying from thirst. With all God gives us, He makes everything work out for our good. So we will not be crushed by the enemy." This kid continues to encourage me and amaze me. Thank you God!
