Back to School for all the GK's!

Busy day today for all my grandkids!!!! They are ALL starting school today... first time they have ever started on the same day! Like I said yesterday... Andrew is going into 9th grade... high school! They are all growing up so fast.... it seems like yesterday when my kids were going into high school! I am posting pictures of different years of 1st days.... the first one being me with a puzzled look... the 2nd one being papa. The rest you can figure out....

Remember to thank the teachers.....
I am sure you want to know how mama is doing. Yesterday she wasn't so great when I got there. I was hoping she would feel better. But her doctor said her Digoxin level is 2 now.... it was 3.... best being between 1-2. I would like to see it totally out of her system! Side effects are too hard on her! She finally ate a few bites of turkey and mashed potatoes at lunch. She had some Chicken Noodle soup at dinner and kept it all down! She is resting alot! She was very depressed yesterday because she wants to be healed NOW! I talked to her.... telling her to let God and the doctors do their thing while she is here (hospital) and she just needs to do hers... eat, drink, rest, and be patient. Keep prayers going. Dr. Arthur's nurse was working the floor and came in to visit mom. That was sweet. Lanny took have the day off to try to cheer her up. She went to sleep so we came home. Her pastor, Joel Wood, came by and so did our brother David! I am sure she was happy to see them. Cousin Holly stopped by and left her a note (she was asleep). I'll go in there this afternoon when Makoa leaves. Let her rest and pray she is feeling better.

It was nice to run into Lanny's cousins at the hospital! We visited for awhile.... it was his cousin Dave and wife Marcey, cousin Cheryl and husband Gene, Joe's love... I can't remember her name, and Toni! I loved seeing them.... they were waiting for cousin Joe... who was having work done on heart (I can't remember what it is called and my brother teaches and does it at a hospital in Virginia... duh! I am losing it!)
Anyway... I also saw my high school friend, Julie, and her brother Rob! Her dad was having a procedure done so they were waiting for it to be finished.
Busy day at the hospital!

Well... that's all, folks! Hope you all have a great day! I am praying for mom and the grandkids! Also for our military people!!! Can never forget them!!!! xoxo

It's great you have so many memories to view and remember, Joyce. Where does the time go...?
Even as summer flew by...so did the years, just faster.
Hope those kids like their teachers. Sure makes a difference for their school year. :-)
Happy that your mama is on the mend. That always lifts the spirits doesn't it? I have had to stay away from my mom, because I am fighting off some kind of bug or viral cold...don't know...
Can only talk on the phone. Hugs to you!
