Friday the 13th! ooooo!

Today is Friday the 13th!!! I am not a superstitious person any more (much)... and that is only because I can't remember what works and doesn't work for the next time! But the normal stuff... nah.

I LOVE black cats! I think they are beautiful... the prettiest cats. I have no problem walking under ladders... unless something will fall off that ladder and hit me! Or unless you are a turkey and it happens to be Thanksgiving. ;D
I don't think crossing your fingers help.

And I've never broken my mama's back.... and I've stepped on lots of cracks!I do admit though... when my palms itch I think for a moment I may be getting money!Friday the 13ths have always been good days for me. If you believe in luck... then I guess it is my lucky day. Now having said that I probably jinxed myself! lo! ;D
This was my best Friday the 13th EVER... when my baby boy, Kevon, was born on January 13, 1978!
Do you believe in any superstitions?

So, yesterday I had to leave early because mom had an 8:00 appointment to get tests done on her arm circulation. She'll get results next week.
During her tests I went up to see my friend Julie (she works on the next floor up)!!! We hugged and laughed and caught up a bit. I miss her so much since the gym! We always talk about doing lunch.
Then mom and I went to breakfast. Cruised around Silverdale because we had over an hour to kill. Showed her Meghan's work... but she wasn't there. Finally went to the Goodwill. I didn't even know it was there. It is clean for a thrift store. Got two cute fall decorations... one for mom and one for me. Then found mom a nice small frying pan. I got a book and when I showed it to her in the car she put it in her purse. I never did get it back. lol! I ran into our counselor... Richard Maxwell! Haven't seen him in a long time! Nice guy.... helped to save our marriage at one point! Love him dearly! Nice quick visit! Mom was heading to the van so I had to catch up!
We got back to the office for her next appointment with Dr. Vasan. (He is Russian and mama LOVES him!) Her blood pressure was way low! 73/47! They took it twice. No wonder she was weak and light headed! He switched her med's around. Karla later said it is dangerously low and Doug said he is surprised he didn't send her to the hospital. Here is the chart.

She has ranged from super high to now super low. I just want them to FIX MY MAMA!!!!!!!

On the way home we got her prescription filled and we got those mini blizzards at dairy queen! Perfect size!We got her home and I filled her weekly pills and took her laundry home! I stopped at Karla's on the way home. She is going to take mom to have her blood drawn next week. Then mom has 2 more appts Thursday. One with the surgeon and one with Dr Vasan again.

I had the greatest surprise when I got home!!!!A box at my door.... and what a wonderful surprise when I opened it to find out it was from Kelly Kelly (my Georgia friend) and it had home made salsa and pickles in the box! How sweet is that??? It touched my heart that she would think of me! If it comes from that family.... it has got to be delicious!!! Thank you Kelly! Love you!!!!

Found out yesterdays blog was a gun jump. Does that make sense? I jumped the gun? Karla accepted 2 more games on Monday! Which is good because no one is ready for the season to end! So we have one more night. So forget yesterday's post or go back and read it on Tuesday! I won't be posting that sad story again. Once was enough. lol!

Makoa just arrived.... him and Toby had cheese and are watching Blues Clues. I'm doing the laundry today. So glad it is Friday. It is so beautiful outside! Gusts of warm wind and sunny! Loving the door open!

Toby was acting so strange this morning. I woke up to a beep. Wasn't sure what it was but it was enough to get me up. Then I heard it again. My cell phone was dying. Freaked him out... he came into the bathroom with me and laid down. That was odd. He never does that! So this un-superstitious person started wondering if he sensed danger? an earthquake? my death? his death? the list goes on and on.... lol! But he is fine now!

Well.... going to play with KoKoMo! Have a great day!

Oh, don't forget to see Andrew's blog and feel free to comment.... it is posted to the left in my family blogs! ;D

What a sweet gift from my precious niece! Kelly Kelly is such a sweetheart and thoughtful!

I don't do some things like walk under a ladder and do the "X" thing on the windshield when a black cat crosses the road:)

That little Kevon is just precious! He looks like he is mad for having to have his picture made!

Enjoy your day my friend! Happy you get to have another ballgame:)

HUGS!

HAH!liked your 13th post...
I laughed about the hand itching. My grandmother taught me when my right palm is itching it means unexpected money is coming...and golly pete, if it isn't true almost all the time...I'm not superstitious, but I never cease to be amazed when that money appears...!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Isn't it just wonderful to get a surprise package in the mail or on the porch!! Exciting!!
Maybe you can sneak that book back out of your mama's house in YOUR purse eventually!! lol...
Hugs to you for a good weekend...
