All good things come to an end.

I had no idea what my yesterday was going to be like... it was nice. I called mom to see how it was going over there.... she asked me to come over. My Aunt and cousin hadn't left yet... but she would like me to come. That surprised me because the night before I asked her if she needed me to come over in the morning and she rolled her eyes. My mom rolls her eyes more than a 13 year old girl! So I figured that was a no. Well, if she needs me you know I am going to run... no questions asked! I hurried with my shower and got there with my hair dripping. lol! My cousin Larry came about 11:15 and we visited for awhile. He wanted to take us out to lunch. Lindsey wanted seafood. I suggested we say goodbye there... to make it easier on everyone. So we went to lunch! Here are the sisters....
And Larry and Lindsey.... took forever to get the food so we got a lot of visiting in! Lindsey was freezing. They should have cranked that fireplace up for her.We had a nice time.... lots of laughs as usual. Larry and I had fish and chips. The portions were very small for the price. And they were in a basket with paper instead of a plate... which I thought was weird too. I am not a big fan of Tap Rock... or whatever it is called. Mom had Shrimp and chips.... the majority she took home. Lorraine had a sandwich, clam chowder and fries. Lindsey had some kind of seafood stuff with cheese on an English Muffin and Onion Rings. The food was good.
Then we said our goodbye's at the front door. Very abrupt. No tears. Tough ladies. I think Larry was the only one who looked teary. lol!

I took mom home, did her pills, washed her dishes, cleaned out the frig, and took her laundry home. She was watching the closer when I left... and seemed tired. Checked on her last night... she is fine. I am sure she is sad but Lorraine was ready to go home and mom was ready to rest. They had a wonderful visit. I thank the Lord for Lindsey and for the time they had together.

These ladies are "Lohre sisters" Now...if you have "Lohre" blood in you there is a great possibility that you WILL use the wrong words or say the wrong name when speaking. This seemed to be the theme this week. This is from my mom's wall.

I want to brag about my grandsons. They are amazing. Here is from their mail box and here is why they called 911. They are heroes in my eyes!!!! xoxo Love you guys!

I have Makoa today.... and I need to do some cleaning. I wonder if he will help or hinder? lol! I did some cleaning last night in the den. Got lots more to do! Well... I hope you all have a wonderful day! Two rainy days in a row here.... I kind of like it! ;D

well....I said a prayer that it would not be draining to say Goodbyes. Looks like everything turned out okay the way you carried it out. I think when we say goodbye to our siblings who don't live nearby, we kind of take it for granted we will see them "next time". I guess when you are in the season of your mom and your aunt, it gets very hard, because you really DON'T know whether you will see one another again..wow...those get-togethers become more sweet...
I laughed about the rolling eyes!!!
And I have heard that saying on your mama's wall many a time and USED it! lol...
Hope you have a great weekend. That Makoa is just so cute, Joyce. He is really just one of your grandkids "godchild-grandkid". :-)
*the youngest!... I'm sure he thinks of you as a gramma. Hugs!

I'm glad you had a good visit; the uncertain goodbyes are the hardest! They had a good visit with one another and all of you will have so many nice memories, you should make a nice collage for your mom with all of your pics from the visit, she'd get a kick out of it! Get some rest. Hugs Joyce!

If I call you, would you come running to my house with dripping hair to clean my fridge and do dishes? (I promise I won't roll my eyes once!)
What good boys! They are heros and should be very proud of themselves!
