I took this with my cell phone on Friday and just got it transferred to my computer. Makoa always has to hold my hand when he is falling asleep. It's just the way it is. I loved this picture of his little fingers and wanted to share it.It was quite a wildlife adventure in the area last week. Friday a cub was caught up in a tree in a Kingston neighborhood. They are taking it to rehabilitate it for a few months before setting it out in the wild. Where is his mama????? Local photographer Brad Camp took this picture.
This pic I took with my cell phone of a deer along our road to our house. The road is 50 miles an hour.... I stopped and honked my horn trying to chase it into the bushes. A guy came the other way and I flashed my lights and waved.... he saw it and stopped too. A car was coming up quickly behind me so I had to leave.... I hope she went in the woods! Papa sees them a couple times a month on this road. I pray one doesn't get hit!
Guess who slept in the living room all night? ME! I could not fall asleep at all. It seems like when one spouse can't sleep the other doesn't either. I slept on the couch.. then I slept pretty good. Could not get settled in bed though. I see why Lauren loves that couch. It is very comfy cozy. The big comfy couch! It's not as big as this one... but it is more comfy. Does anyone remember this show? The grand kids loved it!!! Me... not so much... except the dust bunnies.
We did nothing yesterday but washed windows. They look so sparkly clean now! I cleaned the den, too. Didn't go anywhere but today we need to venture out and get gas in the van, some steak for dinner, visit mom, and stop and see Ryan play some hard ball. Please pray for mom's upcoming surgery!!!
Please keep Betty's brother, Ronnie, in your prayers. He was hit by a car and is in ICU in Maryland. (Betty is Doug's wife ...my brother... so she is my s-i-l).
I started a new thing on my blog.... I am only posting one day at a time.... so you have to go to the archives to see the other days you may have missed. That leaves me room to post my memory pictures from the same date/different year below my post. I love remembering what I was doing in the past on the same day. :D It is kind of fun!
I hope you enjoy your Sunday. Why does the weekend go so fast? :< style="font-style: italic;" class="forecast medium">
Forecast:
After a pleasant Seafair Torchlight parade with street-level temps in the 60s, overnight clouds returned for Sunday morning with a chance of spotty drizzle as our pattern of ocean air continues. Look for a little more clearing and warmer temps Sunday through Friday, with morning clouds, and afternoon highs gradually warming to around 80 by Wednesday. The threat of thunderstorms continues for the Cascades and Eastern Washington Sunday.

What a sweet picture of Makoa's hand in yours, WOW! I love your pictures from the past. That Karla is just too precious!
Cute bear and deer! I hate to see deer hit also but there are a lot here and so I see a lot.
I am praying for your Mama, she is strong and has a big smile! Keeping a good attitude sure helps a lot!
Enjoy your Sunday and OH YES, I remember Big Comfy Couch! Autumn was CRAZY about it and so we watched it continuously. They learned something bad from the show... they thought it was OK to stuff things in the couch.
HUGS!
What a sweet picture of his precious little hand! Love baby hands & feet SOOO Cute! Praying for your mom! Have a great Sunday night, blessings & hugs to you!
OH...the hand shot is precious...
Do you think it makes him feel secure as he slips into dream land that he is holding on to you??? :-)
The hand of a little man...One day it will be big and strong and hold the girl of his dreams....:-)
The weekends do tend to fly, mine did. Most of mine are filled with petsitting in the summer, and Kurt worked this weekend, so it was like a blink. I will be saying a prayer for your mom's surgery, and for the doctors, and for your sister-in-law's brother.
Wow do you want to do my windows!!??? woot! Hugs to you.
