The years have been great!!! Love these memory pics....

I must say again my favorite cousin, Bob, is awesome! He sent me some DVD's of "Country's Family Reunion Nashville"! He is great! Thank you Bob!!!! I love them... but mom is going to see them first. Not that she has to approve.... but she is sick with the cough that wakes her up at night and she said she would love to watch these at night! So Lanny will take them over for her to borrow while she recovers. Pray for her!!! Bob also sent this picture! It is of our family (minus Rick... and David wasn't born yet) taken June 19, 1961. I have never seen it before! I cried. The thing that stands out when I think of my dad is his hands. He had such capable hands and I loved them! Then to see his hands around me in this picture just got to me! The picture is my dad and mom... Doug, Libby and her 2nd birthday and Lois! I was 5, Lois was 8, Doug was 12. Don't know where Rick is in this picture. And I don't know why I had this goose around me.

Last night I got to see Jordy sing and play these chime things at Liberty Bay Retirement Community. She was so beautiful! I could here her pretty voice above the others at times! It was really nice and the seniors enjoyed it! I am glad I went! Her "you tube" moment is posted, too. She was so embarrassed! lol! She was right... the other girl is to blame because she told her to get ready.
I finished my shopping in the morning.... met up with Karla at Walmart and we kind of finished together. Ran into cousins Dave and Marcey. It was really good to see them again and to visit. We always talk about going to see them and the years just slip by. I am so weird about some things... and spelling is one. When I checked out at walmart the girl messed up and said I was getting back $4001.00 in change. She had to call a supervisor and initial the receipt that it was only a dollar in change. She forgot the "e" at the end of the word "change" and for some reason I pointed it out and made her change it! Now that is anal!
I ran to Bremerton and got Ryan from work.... had a nice ride back visiting. I love him very much!!!! Glad I got to spend time with him. Speaking of sons......
today is the day our family first met Kevon's (now) wife, Meghan on 12-18-04! She is the first girl Kevon ever brought home so I knew he was serious! I felt bad for her... she met us all at once at our family Christmas! Then he proposed to her on Christmas of 2007!
This was taken 12-18-04 of Maddie on top of her daddy's shoulders!

The next year 12-18-05 Riley is on her daddy's shoulders!!!
The following year 12-18-06 Andrew and Lauren are checking out the Colorado snow!
Then on 12-18-2008 Dylan and Maddie check out the Washington snow!

A busy day in our home today. Cleaning and preparing for tomorrow! Tomorrow is our Christmas! I am so excited! I'm not sure what I am more excited for... our Christmas and being together, the prime rib dinner, or the slumber party after it! I am so thankful to God and my praying friends for feeling better! Just have to remember not to overdo it! Pray for my mama... she has the cold and not feeling well!

Have any of you seen that new comedy with Patricia Keaton (from Everybody loves Raymond) called "The Middle".... about a very dysfunctional family. Her son in the show (pictured here) whispers the last word of every thing he says. If he said "That is beautiful" he would murmur "beautiful" after it. Papa is off today and walking around doing that to annoy me this morning. I tell ya.... the man is crazy! And I am crazy in love with him! He always makes me laugh!!!!

Weather to Expect:
Showers in the forecast. High temperatures will be running around the 50 degrees mark this afternoon. If you are traveling the mountain passes today expect a mix of snow and freezing rain with minor accumulations of 1 to 2 inches.
We'll start the weekend on a dry note with partly cloudy skies on Saturday. Sunbreaks with high temperatures in the mid to upper 40s during the afternoon.
Rain will be on the increase once again on Sunday with highs holding in the upper 40s. Showers are expected to continue through Monday with drier and cooler weather returning on Tuesday
