What helps the memory?

I wish I knew what was happening to my memory. It really scares me at times! It is getting bad. If I don't write it down it doesn't exist. Papa remembers everything most of the time so I count on him alot. I don't know if it is my medication, my age or I am just an idiot. Yesterday was horrid. I felt like a failure... a terrible person. I am not even exaggerating. Well, parts were good.... let me explain.

Day started great. Maddie called to wish us a Happy Grandparents Day and then she wanted to go to church with us. So we picked them up and went to church. Before entering church my cell rang and it was Jo and Riley calling to wish us Happy Grandparents Day. It was great. We had planned on going to Red Robin after church to use the gift cards and I asked Jo what they were doing. Well, Tara said "We'll see" which to me means no. I said I would call them after church and then the The Ministry Fair was going on so I got to see soooo many people and get soooo many hugs! It was a great time before and after church. Kurt was happy to see Dylan and Maddie and that made them feel good. It was just craziness and a good time. Went to Red Robin and ate and on the way home I heard from Tara. They were going to go!!!! I didn't think they were and so I filed it away somewhere. I felt soooo terrible. Of course the girls said it was ok... i told them it wasn't ok.... but they forgave me. I was still depressed all the way home and then just went to bed and cried and slept for over an hour. I don't have that many opportunities with my girls and I blew a big one. crap! I really lost some points there. Got home and there was a message from Heather's boys wishing us happy Grandparents Day! That was sweet to hear.
Papa woke me up after four. He made Julienne Potatoes and wanted to know if I still wanted to go to Dennis and Shawna's for our Bible Study Potluck. I knew how bad he wanted to go... he even made a dish! So I got ready and we went. So glad we did. It was nice seeing everyone again. Lanny had a great time!!! He loves this group.... feels a very special bond with them. Especially buddy Bob.

Here is Nancy and I .... we enjoyed sitting by each other. And she is thrilled about my job! She works for NKSD too! She's putting a good word in at the office. I said "They like you, don't they?" hehe
No one had as much fun as Lyle with Shawna though. He is always the star of the evening. We got to see slideshow and hear about the mission trip Dennis and Shawna just went on to India. I almost cried! They were incredible stories! They took teens and it really changed everyone! Hundreds of people in villages all over asked Jesus to live in their hearts! It was so awesome! I could have listened to stories all night! Some of the teens are my friends on face book and I can tell the change in them just by their posts. God is always at work.

Another thing I forgot to talk about yesterday was my niece's birthday! Brittni had a birthday yesterday! I wished her HB on FB.... but I always acknowledge it here and spaced out. So today I am putting her picture up to the side and wishing my beautiful girl a wonderful year ahead! She is a sweety and deserves the best! (Her brother is the one in Afghanistan, Justin).

In case you missed all the action on the MTV/VMA awards last night with Taylor Swift/Beyonce/Kanye West .... you can see the videos on this site:

Going to get fingerprinted today. Could be the deal breaker on my job! Just kidding.

Hope you all have a great day! Suppose to be sunny again!!! :D

Papa left for work this morning and Toby won't have nothing to do with me! He layed by the door and wouldn't come to me, wouldn't acknowledge me, still won't. It's not my fault! Toby never does this to me. Weird. Here's a video proof for papa... Toby has his back to me and you can't see him very well ....

Glad the day started out good yesterday and ended up good... sorry the middle made you upset:( Hopefully all will be better today. My memory isn't all that great, so I am not much help there. I think we have so much on our poor minds that it is just too full:) Love you and good luck with the fingerprinting and you new job, I think it will be good for you!
