Yesterday Papa and I went over to visit with mom, Rick and Lois. It was really, really nice! Lanny and Rick fixed the headlight in mom's car. She was happy.
Stopped and picked up Andrew and Lauren and went to WalMart. Papa was smart enough to stay in the van.... it was a stinkin' nightmare in there. SOOOO many people! The good thing was we got to see Kristy and Todd with their new baby girl!!!! What a beautiful baby! Talked for a bit and found our way out of the store. No store has corn starch! Amazing. Can't find it anywhere! Came home and papa went blackberry picking again. Guess what I am doing today! It is pouring rain outside! Good day to bake!
I don't have much to say. If you don't have much to say... say nothing at all... or something like that.
Forecast:
A wet, breezy Sunday will keep the Northwest unseasonably cool. Highs will struggle to hit the mid 60s. Expect south winds 10-25 mph. Spotty thunderstorms will add to the drama.
Labor Day remains cool and showery with highs in the low 60s. There will be some sunbreaks Monday afternoon.
Tuesday and Wednesday see more sun and highs around 70.

Well, how wonderful to meet another 'Mam'...that's what my grandchildren call me...there are very, very few 'Mam's that I've met...I am married to Pop...we've benn married 49 years.
We are blessed with two daughters and two sons-by-love and eight wonderful grandchildren...
