Tue Apr 2, 2008:

Today is Autism Awareness Day. Strange how I never thought about autism except for watching Rainman....good movie. Then our cousin, Emma, was diagnosed a year ago with it. When it touches your family....you become much more aware of it. I want to learn more...I pray for them alot... and I pray for a cure! Become informed and pray!
Well, yesterday turned out rather nice. Patrick got his braces off...when I get a decent picture I will post it. hint hint. Went to lunch with Papa in Bremerton. We enjoyed that alot. Had a nice time.....but he had to go back to work. I worked on KidStuf in the afternoon.
Today I have to get this house clean! Maddie and Dylan are coming over for a couple days and I want to be ready! We have our meals and movies planned and everything. I am excited. Papa is going to see his mom. He has mixed emotions. He is so glad to be seeing his mom and family...but the circumstances suck. He knows it will be his last visit with his mom and probably Michael. Pretty difficult for him. Wish I was going to be there for him. Keep him in your prayers. Plus Heather and Tara who are going with him. He is taking today off work to get ready so that will be nice.

Well, I hope you have a great day today! May God bless your day and fill it full of happy things!

Thank you Joyce! Emma is doing quite well right now. She may get to go to kindergarten next year into a program that will be fluid with her needs but will also be in a regular kindergarten class! We are excited and scared for her at the same time.
