Come Saturday Morning....

Yesterday was a great day! Took Mary to the doctors office to get blood drawn and then she took me to lunch again. Tried to refuse but she is a lady who is tough to refuse. Had a really good sandwich. When I got home this is what was happening! Maddie playing in the pool. The water was cold but she didn't care. She loves water. She went in there a few times during the day. That is our pool. Not as nice as Theresa's... but Maddie is happy! :D

This is by far my favorite background for me. I don't know why but it is bright and makes me happy. Dark isn't my style. Maybe that is why my favorite color is yellow!

We slept in until 7:30.... Maddie and Dylan until almost 8. This cracks me up. Little Maddie has the big bed and Dylan is scrunched on the love seat. Their choice. lol! No one sleeps on Andrew's couch. Don't know why... like an unspoken rule between the kids??? They all have their assigned places at mam's. Woke up to problems. The DVR isn't working. So they have to replace it which won't be until the 24th! Which also means any recordings we have are history. Plus we only can get double digit channels and his westerns are on 106 and higher. So papa is not thrilled to have his tv not working right on his days off. Oh well.... this is a small problem in a big world and not worth getting upset about. Papa is mad... but he'll get over it. Maybe we'll get some stuff done outside! We have a shell garden I would like to move. He wanted to start sanding the deck. Might even get the kids away from the tv. They brought two movies to watch so they have those for tonight.

Happy birthday to my nephew Noah! He has had a rough little life already. He had a bout with cancer which required surgery and chemo.... he is still in remission. Thank the Lord! He lives in Oklahoma. My prayer is he may grow old and be happy and healthy with a special love and gratitude to the Lord!

Happy Anniversary to my new friend Kelly! You can read more on her blog! I love reading about her and Jim. They seem so suited for one another it is sweet! I pray for many more happy years filled with tons of laughter and love!

Going to pick up mom's cat today. Kevin and Libby took her to Rapid City for my Uncle Jake's funeral. Doug is going to it from Virginia too. Everyone is driving! Most of my kids drove to Eastern Washington this weekend, too. So I'm feeling a bit alone. But I got Papa, Dylan and Maddie here! We'll be great.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! It is sunny and gorgeous here!

Weather To Expect
SATURDAY: The sun will be out and temperatures will be climbing for your Saturday. Highs this afternoon will be running in the 80s for most spots around Puget Sound.
SUNDAY: If today is a little too hot for you outside, Sunday looks more comfortable. Temperatures will be dropping back down into the low 70s. Clouds will also be on the increase with showers and the chance of an isolated thunderstorm around all of Western Washington.
WEEK: A few showers linger into Monday before we dry it out and warm it back up into the middle part of next week. More sun comes out on Tuesday and Wednesday with temperatures climbing back into the upper 70s. Have a great weekend!
