This is my dog and cat. Guarding Maddie as she played in the pool. They are pretty similar in color.
Here is Maddie in the pool. Not sure why papa put the pool there and I fought all day to move it to the back yard.... but to no avail.
She didn't care.
Have to watch the guard dog. Not sure what he would do if someone came near his girl!
Maddie and papa having a little picnic while he takes a break.
We went down to the beach, too! Dylan looks so much older in this picture!
Maddie looks older in this picture too.

Last night there was an amazing thunder and lightening storm! It was so cool! The sky looked awesome.
We had to come out and watch with popcorn. Beats TV.
This picture didn't turn out that well.... but you can see by his expression he was a bit freaked when he say the first one.
And Maddie just love the whole thing.
Trying to convince Dylan we were in no danger was funny. Here is one of the video's we took trying to capture the lightening. He told me not to take pictures because the flash looked like lightening. I didn't but not sure he believed me....Last night was kind of rough around here. We got everyone to sleep around 10:30. I was 11:30. Before I went to bed Dylan was thrashing around and talking a bit. I went in to calm him down and he was burning up. He woke up and I took his temp. Over 100.... don't think I got an accurate reading because he was falling back to sleep. I was woke up by papa a short time later. Dylan needed me.... he was on the pot and holding the garbage can. Not a good thing. He thought he was having a heat stroke. I took his temp... over 102. Got him a cold rag and when he came out he said he wanted to sleep with me. By then papa was in his favorite place... his chair. So I got him a sip of water and we went to bed. Then at 2:30 Maddie got up and had to go potty and wanted a drink of water. So I was up again. Dylan woke up a few times. One time I reached over to feel his forehead and he grabbed my hand and pulled it to his cheek and just held it. Awwww... so sweet. He would never do that awake. He wasn't in any pain except for a headache so I gave him some Tylenol and a bit more water. We slept until 7:30. Now they are watching TV and he decided to forgo the bacon. So they'll just have cereal and toast this morning. The mom and dad will be home today. The kids really missed them. Maddie would alternate between saying she missed her mom and she missed her dad. She said the pictures in my house made her sad. She is a bit dramatic. He didn't say... but I know Dylan missed his mama... kids want their mama when they are sick.
Pray for safe travel for everyone! Mom, Libby & Kevin got to Rapid City last night. The memorial is tomorrow for my Uncle. Another thing I couldn't go to.
Well... Maddie is starving so I better go. Have a good day and may God bless!
