Taking a break between games. Maddie spots me!

Kevon giving the ball a ride!

Meghan up to bat!

Ryan and Karla laughing at the way she plowed over the 3rd baseman and was safe!

Joel.....I think saying 2 outs.

Tara smacks the ball!

That's Karla on first and Kevon on second!

The team after their first game!

I am sitting here steaming right now. We got ripped off last night! Someone stole the gas out of our truck! Both tanks! It makes you feel so violated when someone does that to you! Usually I would think they must have needed it more than me to resort to stealing....but no one needs it more than us!!!! We have $5 to our name and no gas for me to get to work next week! I can't even pick up the medicines I have at the pharmacy (iron and new blood pressure) because I don't have the freakin' money....and then someone steals from us. What is wrong with people?????? It won't do any good ....but I am reporting it this morning. Oh well. It is what it is. Every day Papa sends me an email as soon as he gets to work.....to let me know he is safe, to tell me how much he loves me, or to have a good day. I just have to post his this morning. Made me laugh: "Hi baby what a way to start the day, cant let it bug me or I will have a long day, may the LORD smash them flat, just kidding, kind of! I love you and as always will miss today, be careful and talk to you later, love you me!"

I found out yesterday I work today from 1-5. Ends up cutting into the slumber party today but I take any hours I can get! Next week I work all week! Happy for the hours! The six grandkids are coming to spend the night. The parents are having their end of the year Softball party at Karla & Joel's tonight! But I have to work at 10 in the morning and papa has to work at 8 so it gets a bit tricky getting them up and moving.

Dr. Annie Chun, my doctor, called yesterday. She said she knows my breathing will be better when I can pick up the other blood pressure meds and I will lose this cough because this med I am on sometimes affects peoples lungs. So I'll have to switch next payday. She doesn't need to see me for a month and a half....wants my blood checked again in a month. If my anemia isn't better they want to investigate. My echo-cardiogram results came back too....and my heart is working properly....looks great. My left ventricle is slightly enlarged but that is most likely from my anemia. So that was good news. She has ordered a ultrasound for my womanly areas to make sure I have no cysts, tumors, etc. Now I just got to get this anemia kicked. I am taking some iron but it isn't the right dosage. That has to wait til I have the money....and I'll make due. Man, everyone seems to be struggling financially right now. It's the pits.

I got to work out on the treadmill at work last night. I try to get on any chance I get. It got real quiet around 5:30. I love it. Nice equipment. I just walked watched Seinfeld. And it is cool because they are at the windows and I have a view of the Olympics, a huge American flag, and even saw a bald eagle. On the down side....they are building in the next lot soon....right now it is an empty dirty lot with wood chips. But at least the machines let you look outside! The new gym in Poulsbo we will be opening will be above Walmart so you'll get to see Mount Rainier. That will be beautiful! Can't wait. At least that's the game plan.

Isn't that video of Tori and Dean cute? In case you couldn't guess....they are dressed as Courtney Love & Kurt Cobain, Lucy & Ricky, Johnny & June Cash, Sonny & Cher and themselves. I'm finding out I'm not the only one who likes them. Obviously this video was made before her daughter, Stella. There is a big stink about the new 90210.... they don't want to pay her as much as Shannon Dougherty or Jennie whats-her-lips. Wow, it was her dad's show and they want to short her? I say again, what is wrong with people?

The kids last softball game was last night. I got to watch part of it. Ry had to play for the other team and put his own wife out twice!!!! They had so much fun playing and were laughing and cracking up the whole game. Jay got another homer. Kev made a couple of good catches. They really are a great team. Will be losing 2 next year....possibly moving to Texas, I hear. Anyway.....I posted the team picture.....congratulations to everyone for a great season!!!!! You rock! And kudos to Brad who took a hit for the team that wasn't even his! He'll be feeling that for a while still. Poor guy!

Got a phone call from Susan....who worked with me at KidStuf. She already misses me. It is nice to be missed!

I'm missing all the gymnastics for the Olympics. When is it on? Two in the morning????
Well, I've done enough complaining and bragging in one day. Hope your day is a good one! God bless EVERYONE!!!!
